Not the only one..... I'm told. Passed the bar, spending my life in public defense. Likely thinking about cats at all times.

Elon Musk has spent more money on American elections in the last two years than George Soros has in his entire life.

Schumer can do the country a while lot of good by retiring effective immediately. Hell, every Democrat over 65 can join him.

Musk thinks he's this scary badass, but he might as well have typed "While you were running for office, I studied the blade." Somebody pants this dork and stuff him in the Gatorade cooler.

Elon Musk threatens Congress.

While filming The Princess Bride, Andre the Giant was in such physical pain he was unable to film most any action scene. In the fight with Wesley, they alternate between long shots of a very obvious body double and close ups where Cary Elwes is walking along specially built ramp platforms.

We all know the "Viggo broke his toe" story but what's another movie fact you're personally compelled to bring up every time without prompting? For me, it's the fact that Robin Tunney is wearing a wig in The Craft because of having just shaved her head to save her job filming Empire Records.

J: you can't answer? RS: not relevant J: i'm the one who decides what's relevant. i've asked what's DOJ understanding when they told me TMP plan had nothing to do with the Washington National Plan & everything to do with 7 year-old cultural landscape report. RS: i answered J: you haven't. /17

"I would rather cede power to fascists than engage in any bargaining with a leftist" is peak establishment Democrat thinking. Can we flush Carville out to sea?

I feel like there would already be UN Peacekeepers on the ground if America weren't shielding Israel's violent genocide at every turn.

About 6 years ago, I had to deal with a sovereign citizen client who wanted me off his case because I was an attorney and he wanted a lawyer. I sat through many heated diatribes where he explained that attorneys worked for the court while lawyers worked for the client.

According to him, attorneys were warped by law school into unethical machines while lawyers were untouched by the corruption. I always thought he was crazy, but to my surprise, this line of thought has really entered the cultural wisdom.

Let them pack. Just keep going until the Supreme Court is the size of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. I want to see 201-199 decisions with 189 written opinions. It will be epic. (Repeat of a post I made in June 2026)

will try to answer these in a piece next week but for now i will say that part of the *point* of court expansion, in my mind, is to create a disequilibrium — a potential race to the bottom — that will force a truce.

So back in April, I got put on a "bigotry from the left" blocklist, which.... Whatever. I probably don't want to interact with anybody who uses it. But I got bored in court and looked through my past posts and it seems one or both of the posts below were the cause. Are white people this fragile?

If you find you're searching for a YA hidden world of magic fix, get into Rick Riordan's world of Percy Jackson (and the companion Kane Chronicles/ Magnus Chase). It's much better written than HP, fully welcoming and centering of LGTBQ characters, and consuming it doesn't hurt the Trans community.

This plaintiff's attorney is sloppy at best and grossly unethical at how he continues to handle this case. How do you file this kind of suit and give inflammatory statements to the media before you even secure service of the correct defendant? That's malpractice. www.stripes.com/branches/mar...

To "revel in the death of those who truly deserve it...is normal, good, and aligned with our natural and national order," Anduril co-founder Palmer Luckey wrote on X.

So glad Jared Polis decided to unleash this extra level of bullshit on the country instead of letting her serve her lawful fucking sentence.

Add "Stone Cold Stunner" to the list of things he doesn't understand. It doesn't plow the victim's head into the concrete. It uses the force of the user's butt hitting the mat (or ground) to drive their shoulder into the victim's carotid artery, disrupting blood flow and causing a brief black out.

He's crying about it.

I bought a pair of computer speakers last year (August 2025). They have stopped working. No big deal, item has a two year warranty. I submit a claim through the "contact us" page. Immediately get an email from the "AI Agent" saying my August 2025 purchase is outside the two year warranty period.

Now the "Agent" is forcing me to go through email based AI generated tech support steps. This must be a new scheme to cut down on warranty claims by making customers want to die before the paperwork is complete.

I send a reply saying, essentially, October 2026 is within two years of August 2025. Another immediate reply saying "You're right. Sorry for the incorrect information..." What a great dystopia we're living in.

This is seriously the worst fucking officiating in the Minnesota Miami game. Time and time again the Dolphins get hosed by terrible calls, but this is ridiculous. What the fuck are doing?

My latest trial has driven home that we, as a people, really need to pump the brakes on outrage when we only have one side's story. When we read allegations that touch a nerve, we tend to go all in and go big with our reactions. But there may be things we don't know during this initial reporting.

As I've said before, you should never accept facts from one side of a civil suit just as you should never accept a police report facts as confirmed truth. These aren't neutral documents. They are written to be persuasive and capture the audience.

If a lawyer is talking publicly about a pending case, they have an agenda and it's almost never anything beyond "putting this in public will help me win this case." You should always keep that in the forefront of your mind when you read dueling legal statements or selectively leaked evidence.

Only those in the courtroom would come to know all the facts that led to acquittal and my client would be reduced to another talking point in a wider culture war. I just want people to keep this kind of thing in mind. These cases are rarely as cut and dry as the motivated recitation of facts claim.

Now, obviously, this isn't me saying you can't form an opinion about the news without personally conducting a full investigation, but I would caution everybody to consider the sources where the facts are coming from and examine the reason that side is releasing their story at that time.

Add in my client is Black and the complaining witness is white and there would be little skepticism of the state narrative. A few posts could easily get his story trending on Bluesky and we'd get all kinds of takes about domestic violence and violent professions about the appropriate punishment.

There would be no follow up on the 9 months of investigation that slowly unraveled every aspect of the putative victim's story. Every inconsistency and exaggeration would be hidden from the public and nobody outside my office would learn of the piles of evidence that contradicted the state's story.

My trial involved several Class A felonies. If convicted, my client was facing 30 years+ in prison Had his case made the news when he was arrested, the headline would have read "Man arrested after stabbing girlfriend, accused of drug trafficking." The public would consider this open and shut.

6:30pm on a Wednesday. I'm at the county jail waiting for the best part of my job. After a 3 day trial on multiple Class A felonies, my client was found not guilty on all counts and he's getting released soon. I get to greet him as a free man and make sure he's got a place to go tonight.
