We call this data dredging but it can be fun.

Last night Justin Seven-seven scored in the 77th minute for West Brom against Sutton United. Lucky numbers right? But this isn't even the first time that sort of thing has happened... 1/4

The difference here between neighbours Canada and the United States is amazing.

In many countries, people see their fellow citizens as morally good, especially in Canada. The U.S. is the exception: Americans are especially likely to view their fellow citizens as morally bad. Source: Pew Research Center, 25-country survey, March 2026 www.pewresearch.org/religion/202...

🚨 Polls are open in the Forth & Endrick by-election - they’ll close at 10pm. If you want an SNP voice that’ll stand up for your area on Stirling Council, you have to vote for it. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Get out and vote Mhairi Duncan SNP!

Rare for the Labour vote to increase in these byelections. Is this a Burnham effect?

New Bradwell (Milton Keynes) Council By-Election Result: 🌹 LAB: 54.2% (+19.7) ➡️ RFM: 23.4% (-3.1) 🌳 CON: 8.5% (-2.6) 🌍 GRN: 9.3% (-12.5) 🔶 LDM: 4.6% (-1.5) Labour HOLD. Changes w/ 2026.

The mirage of change under Burnham is fading fast in the face of these fascist activists. He's Starmer 2.0. Time for the English left to think again.

We're watching in real time as Burnham fails in the same way as Starmer did.

Labour has banned peaceful protest for Palestine. It should not be hard for Andy Burnham to condemn thugs.

NEW: Sounds like Zack Polanski is seriously mulling standing in Holborn & St Pancras. Green Party Spox: “Zack has always made it clear he would like to be a London MP. London has been his home for over 20 years"

On a freezing 1983 night shoot, Dolly Parton laid her shawl over a homeless man. She says Sylvester Stallone yanked it off, calling the man "scum." Parton grabbed it back: "That could have been you, you ungrateful son of a b*tch." The next day, he'd bought the man a blanket.

Exactly

Our rapid disillusionment with political leaders is treated by much of the media as some kind of pathology. But what I see is these leaders backtracking on their promises, dashing people's hopes and serving the ultra-rich ahead of the rest of the population. Why wouldn't we be disillusioned?

If you ask Chatgpt for the top 10 spreaders of misinformation in the UK it lists: 1. Tommy Robinson 2. Nigel Farage 3. Russell Brand 4. Andrew Bridgen 5. David Icke 6. Katie Hopkins 7. Andrew Tate 8. Laurence Fox 9. Richard Vobes 10. James Delingpole. I don't know Vobes, otherwise looks right.

Nailed it

Dear government, don’t send startling, high-pitched alerts about wildfires to ordinary people's phones. Send them to the CEOs of fossil fuel companies and make them impossible to switch off until they stop the destructive plunder that's contributing to climate change.

I'll be hosting a weekly art class every Monday starting tomorrow June 29th, here in Torphichen. All ages welcome and no experience necessary. All materials provided. Each class is two hours long and the cost per student is £8. Come and join in the fun!

This is so sick and twisted. I hope the perpetrator is found and prosecuted.

This week someone targeted my family for harm with a false report. We’re physically OK, but that doesn’t mean we weren’t harmed. I am beyond furious. Whatever your politics, this is awful, wrong, and can never become normal.

I think Khan would make an infinitely better prime Minister than Starwer or Burnham.

Extraordinary credit to Sadiq Khan for pushing through this deeply controversial policy. This is what can happen when politicians are prepared to stick to their principles.
