"Following the assault, according to Keul’s report, Trump sat her on the edge of the bed, repeated his promises to arrange for a visa and NYU admission, and made her promise she would keep quiet, saying, “[T]he show must go on.”

Got one www.bbc.com/news/article... Gimme money plz

bbc.comTrump would have been convicted of election interference, DoJ report saysA prosecutor says there was enough evidence in the 2020 US election case - but he was scuppered by Trump's win in 2024.

Trump: "I'm also going to be issuing a $1 million bonus or reward or whatever you want to call it for anybody that reports voter fraud, leading to the arrest and conviction of somebody. We're giving that person $1 million."

And look.... there's still a chance that Detroit is going to have to defend a last second Green Bay game tying/game winning drive. Which I have zero confidence in them doing

Again, from the other side it looks like there was *maybe* helmet to helmet, and that was the side the flag came from. Not saying it was definitive, and I am totally willing to say this was a bad call.

This is just pure racism. Republicans objectively are campaigning on little more than bigotry.

Also, I don't care what any single person's opinion is as to what qualifies as a "very nice and fancy restaurant" I don't want the White House to look like a "very nice and fancy restaurant"

The important thing to remember about this person is that she's selling a book where she talks about Democrats being out of touch

Men's dress clothes. You don't have to go full athleisure wear to find comfortable, stylish dress clothes.

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

I would like to report a fraud of millions upon billions of dollars perpetrated by the current president of the united states and his cronies.

NBC News@nbcnews.com

President Trump announced the launch of a new $25 million program, called the Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program, that will offer people who report fraud up to $30,000 if their information leads to a successful fraud conviction or a significant federal law enforcement action.

Abdul El-Sayed has the entire corporate establishment and pro-Israel lobby shooketh. Expect the most vile, nasty, ugly rhetoric over the next 2 weeks. What happened to Mamdani times 10. The good news is that it reveals their utter desperation.

My eyes aren't great, but is that David Axelrod in the photo? If not, whoever that is, they can shut the fuck up If it is, then he can deeeeeeeeeeeeeeefinitely shut the fuck up

‘Not an Appealing Quality!’ Democrats on CNN Panel Rip Abdul El-Sayed Over ‘Cockiness’ The same pundits who tell female candidates to "smile more" now tell the Muslim Senate candidate to be more respectful to the white bigot who smears them with lies. #STFU www.mediaite.com/media/news/n...

Obvious follow up is that to conservatives, Black people and poor people are the same thing

jamelle@jamellebouie.net

the other thing is that conservatives resolutely do not see the purpose of education as providing social mobility but as reifying and deepening existing inequalities of status. they are as hostile to low income students getting admission to elite institutions as they are black ones.

HOT TAKE: Just as states passed abortion laws that ran counter to SCOTUS decisions in order (eventually) to get Dobbs to the Court, states (and when possible, Congress) should serially pass laws limiting independent campaign spending, citing (eg) Elon Musk's massive spending to elect (eg) Paxton.

i have yet to see a non-loser explain exactly why we need to throw our trans friends in the garbage to win. it sort of seems like the losers who lost are the ones saying that

As per usual, spiting me speaks greatness into existance.

One nice thing about not living in Colorado anymore is that I don't have to pretend like Travis Hunter is the second coming. Dumbass penalty

1) He's repeatedly talked about diplomacy as the solution and not more war 2) This is the Republican party in a nutshell; "we fucked this up and expect a Democrat to fix it for us"

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

JD Vance: "I see what Abdul El-Sayed says about the war in Iran. I see him criticizing decisions the president has made, the military has made. But fundamentally we are where we are.I'd like to know what's Abdul El-Sayed's solution for the problem we have right now? It's easy to criticize"

In their design of the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom (1786), Jefferson and Madison declined to make Christian belief a requirement to hold office, and explicitly said that if a Muslim could get elected, there should be no barrier to their holding office.

SCOOP: 'Tommy' from the now-viral exchange with Abdul El-Sayed is Thomas Teepell, a former staffer for Republican Senator Josh Hawley with close ties to Christian Nationalist Sean Feucht. He's the son of a former Bobby Jindal staffer whose consultant work was instrumental in getting Hawley elected.

Donald Trump set another record. There’s NEVER been an election (since polling began in the United States) where voters said “corruption” was their top worry. Until now.

Now, are we going to see an equally dumb make up penalty? I hope so

SoupSzn-Train@mackletrain.bsky.social

It's been the standard for years that you're allowed to take out the legs of Detroit Red Wings players without consequence, so I'm not surprised the league is expanding to calling the dumbest tripping penalties ever on us
