I emailed Patrick Healy, assistant managing editor for standards and trust at NYT, to ask why their story about a House report with new details of rape allegations against the President of the United States included neither those details, nor a single use of the word "rape." archive.is/1s9AM

I’m screenmaxxing. Watching MNF, World Series on TV, Droid Tycoon on main monitor, Melvor Idle 2 and Internet Invitstional on the second ultrawide, Dreamlight Valley on S2, and Dr. Aphra comics on iPad mini

Mass Effect was my ultimate white whale, my all-time dream project. For the last couple years I'd been in discussion w/ BioWare & EA to take on the project & as part of that I wrote close to 20 minutes of music to explore where the franchise can go next, may as well share it!

frustrated bc i want to play everything and in that i end up not playing anything important burying the lede here: i'm addicted to cheap dopamine like star wars droid tycoon and sitting through a kingdom hearts 1.22474487139 cutscene or even like a book with 3 total pages in it is just torture

I’ve never been more in line with Canadian politics

A Canadian Politician Says BioWare Devs Should Be Given Government Funding To Buy The Studio And Get Back To Making Mass Effect https://kotaku.com/a-canadian-politician-says-bioware-devs-should-be-given-government-funding-to-buy-the-studio-and-get-back-to-making-mass-effect-2000749088

I consider myself very in tune with online stuff but until all this stuff I legit thought h3h3 was something to do with the hot dogs, horseshoes, and hand grenades game from a couple years ago (which I now know from a google is h3vr)

This is my shit

Oh, wow, just tried the demo for Echoes Of Nothing. It's a hard sci-fi fusion of Descent and Souls-like, but that's still pretty reductive. This plays like nothing else. You start out as a small space pod, salvaging parts from wrecks and transferring into intact chassis, working up the food chain.

Fuck it, I’ll buy it.

This is just insanity. One of the best studios to ever do it, with a big-budget immersive sim based on a major Marvel property ALMOST FINISHED, and nobody wants to release it!? The big business side of this industry has gone completely mad.

BioWare has always inspired us, and it's hard to say goodbye to our idols. Thank you for everything, BioWare. Many of us wouldn’t be in the games industry without your legacy.

this game is a whole vibe… it really feels like an inhabited sports adventure island. there’s always something more to do that keeps you coming back. not just surface-level stuff where you play a sport and go welp I played that, that’s all there is to see. The island actually feels alive!

Good to be back

My fatal flaw is that I want to play every video game that comes out except for maybe fighting games and… RTSes there aren’t a whole lot of genres I don’t have fomo for
