Lately, for a little while, I've been having trouble with drawing anything romance... And you know it's normally my favorite topic to draw about, but I don't know if it is because of the current state of things where I live or what... sweet romance doesn't feel as fulfilling to draw right now

I've been finding a lot of comfort in fullmetal alchemist again because while it's of course fiction, the deeper topics it talks about are easy to trace back to what aches these days (I didn't lose an arm nor a leg) (don't worry)

So I'm sorry, you'll probably see more of that for a while, it's my bad. I'm still very much a lesbian who loves everything yuri, and I'm sure I'll draw yuriful things in between! But drawing my usual teethrottingly sweet romance takes, for me, a sort of giddiness that I don't feel right now

I really hate the “I don’t owe anyone anything” mentality because we actually owe each other and this planet a lot. You don’t have to be selfless all the time or burn yourself out but you should be kind and helpful and compassionate to the best of your ability. We need to care about each other more

A new example of Meta shithousery. This is a post of mine on Instagram (left). Click the dots top right and this advisory note appears (right). I never use ai, never will. Why would they do this? Who benefits? Are they just trying to make viewers think everything is genAI so they just accept it?
