The Dragon Age franchise is so dear to me, and I replay the games pretty much every other year... I don't think I'd be half the artist/writer I am today if I had never played them, their influence on me as a creator can't be understated.

DAI will always have a special place in my heart. It brought me friends, it helped me bond with my now husband, and it saved my life during a time that was incredibly dark I wanted to become a concept artist because of Dragon Age Let's all keep this story alive, yeah?

EA's closure of BioWare is transparently a vile move to shutter the studio that made by far their queerest titles. In the wake of this, I implore you: MAKE MORE QUEER ART. Make it trans. Make it horny. Make it scary. Make it loving. Make it with every inch of yourself. Flood the world with it!

I don't think readers understand how much influence Bioware has had on authors in the last twenty years. We owe Bioware so much. No Dragon Age means no body horror means I don't write body horror into my work, for example.

I feel obliged to once again reiterate that lay offs and closures are not a reaction to the economy, but a failure of leadership. Each wave of closures and layoffs should be looked upon as a consequence of greed and incompetence. If you can't keep your people employed, you are bad at your job.

Really heartbroken to see Bioware go down- Dragon Age was such a big inspiration for me and really kept me going throughout some of the darkest times of my life. Hell, Cinna and Fleur were literally Dragon Age OCs originally, Idk where I'd be if I had never played the series
