i was listening to the mr. sleepy man soundtrack today at work. it was quite the experience to be handling a huge rush of translations whilst having Teefy serenading about Dinosaur Jones in my ears. (i love this game so much)

With International Translation Day coming up, I just want to give all my fellow translators a huge virtual hug. Things are looking extremely grim and it is devastating to see humans being replaced by (often sub-par, unethical, and erroneous) tools.

The creativity, technical knowledge, cultural insight, and overall perceptiveness needed to be a professional translator are often not recognized. Trust me, it's not as simple as slapping AI on some text. Please, just... hire humans.

got to the lost in dreams sequence in mr sleepy man and dude, this game keeps absolutely exceeding all my expectations. it's weird, chaotic, silly, and beautifully done.

I haven't touched my DAW in way too long (aside for some random bits for clip comps) and decided to finally get back to composing. An hour in and I have a bunch of tracks and I'm making random noises through a vocoder. Man, I missed this.

i've playing an archipelago with friends; my game is stardew valley. i've also been watching people's analysis of psychological horror games on youtube. aaand i've been reading house of leaves. so every single night for the past 2 weeks i've dreamt about being stuck in a horror version of stardew.

We wanted to bring this style of arcade racing back with modern technology. The goal wasn't nostalgia for nostalgia's sake, but to create something that feels timeless and distinct from other kart racers on the market.
