Malcolm X was killed 60 years ago today. His teachings and perspectives remain relevant and applicable today. He will always be an important figure in American history. #BlackHistoryMonth

Republicans are the bad guys, but Democrats always create the conditions for Republicans to take power and use it for evil ends. If Biden had forcefully defended Ukraine without hesitation from the beginning, Ukraine wouldn’t be in the awful position it’s in right now.

And of course, if the Dems actually had a coherent ideology and set of inviolable principles that they stood for over time, instead of frantically shifting positions and changing policies based on whatever direction the political winds were blowing that day, they might actually inspire some voters

If the Dems had focused on real “kitchen table” issues that affect the majority of households, instead of niche issues that affect 0.5% of the population while simultaneously alienating about 50%, the GOP wouldn’t have had nearly as much to campaign on.

If Biden and the Dems actually advertised what the IRA did instead of just assuming that Americans would somehow magically figure it out. Hell, I’m active in politics and *I* can’t even say wtf the IRA does to address the problems regular working folks face.

If the Biden DoJ had dropped everything and gone after Trump full-bore for the J6 insurrection, he wouldn’t be President now. Big shoutout to Merrick Garland, who sat passively as the GOP stole his SCOTUS seat, and then sat passively in the DoJ and slow-walked the Trump prosecution.

Working class Americans live 6 years shorter lives than the wealthy. Doctors believe economic stress is a major factor in that disparity. I asked Americans to describe how stress impacts their lives & well-being. The responses were heartbreaking. Here are some of them:

The root that tears apart your foundation begins as a seed of distrust, hate, and blame. The seed that grew into a dictatorship in Europe didn’t arrive overnight. It started with everyday Germans mad about inflation and looking for someone to blame.

I'm becoming increasingly radical on "we need to crush decorum and grind it into a fine paste". Tell people they're fucking stupid and their ideas are bad. Don't just sit there and squirm, if you know someone is wrong and can say how and why, fucking say so.

The con is so old and so simple, it’s incredible how many marks there are. Right-wingers receive campaign funding from big corporations, they get elected, they work to defund and deconstruct parts of the government, and over time government services deteriorate and people get frustrated.

Then in their next campaign (funded by big corporations) they turn to the voters and say, “See how inefficient the government is? This is why we need to privatize [government service/program]!” And the dumbass marks that make up the majority of the American electorate fall for it every damn time.

Liberals and leftists had so many fucking opportunities to unite behind a truly inclusive 21st century project to make this country a better place for all. But no, the libs blindly followed the Dems and their army of consultants who stand for nothing, while the left spent its time valorizing LGBTQ

people and screeching about how if you aren’t enthusiastically pro-trans then you’re an evil bigot. Great way to attract fence-sitters to the cause! So here we are. Instead of standing for basic things that the majority of people want, libs and leftists fucked around and now they’re finding out.

And for the record: the left is just as guilty in all of this as the right. Whether it’s liberals obsessed with protecting rules and norms even if it means allowing fascists to use those rules to take power, or leftists pushing divisive identity politics BS that most of the country finds off-putting

This country full of fat, lazy, proudly ignorant fools is about to get a nice big heaping of blowback and they are not even close to prepared for it. Keep cheering on Trump and Musk, you retards. The faster they work, the sooner I get to see this country get its just desserts.

To expand on my earlier “STAND FOR SOMETHING” post, one of the primary reasons the Republicans keep winning is because they stand for something. You may not like what they stand for, but they stand for *something*, and that’s a bigger selling point to the average voter than most people realize.

Trump is a liar, but he’s a consistent liar, and it’s clear that the average voter wants consistency over truth. Until the Dems genuinely understand that and take it to heart, they will continue to lose easily-winnable races to carnival barkers and con men.

Kamala was the worst possible candidate the Dems could’ve run against Trump, particularity in our current political and economic environment. She is the shining example of everything I’ve just been ranting about. She is the definition of a career pol, willing to say anything to get elected.

The reason so many voters/rubes view Trump as “tough” is because he sticks to his guns. He says what he says and he truly does not give a damn what you think about it. He’s going to do what he’s going to do, and that’s that. Whether it’s arrogance or confidence, it’s appealing to voters.

With the Dems, the average voter doesn’t really know what they’re getting. The Dems’ beliefs and policy prescriptions change every year, sometimes dramatically. As soon as an issue seems like it might maybe be unpopular, they rush to dump it and immediately pick up some new policy.

Now let’s look at Trump. Overall, Trumpism has stayed consistent since it first slid down that escalator. Ignorance, racism, nonsensical conspiracy theories, etc. We all know Trumpism. And *that* is why he keeps winning. People like to know what they’re getting, even if what they’re getting sucks.

The average voter is a fucking moron, but he’s no fool. The average voter looks at the Dems and sees an empty suit, devoid of any real beliefs or ideas. They see desperation. They see politicians constantly changing their “beliefs” in a vain quest to appeal to this or that segment of the electorate.

Dems come off as a party of pollsters and consultants in a frantic quest to convince/trick people to vote for them. Note the difference. GOP says all kinds of insane shit, but it’s consistent. They’re not trying to convince anyone to vote for them, they’re just spouting their genuine beliefs.
