Old fascism -> New Fascism

How #DOGE stole America: everything you need to know. Easy - peasy - all on YouTube 1. Watch “Dark Gothic MAGA: How Tech Billionaires…” 2. Watch the two Curtis Yarvin eps of the Behind the Bastards podcast. 3. Watch The Election Truth Alliance’s ‘Russian tail’ video. @electiontruth.bsky.social

Oh Onion, I long for the glory days past when you posted whimsical things, laughable little vignettes of implausable tomfoolery perpetrated by daft citizens and politicians alike. Were it possible to return us all to that saner, gentler timeline, I would give my own soul to see it so.

Reading a history book before fleeing fascism has not been recommended before. Perhaps this one time we can consider an alternative approach unless you can read quickly.

I'm sure aggressive colonial nations deciding amongst themselves how to divide up other countries without that country's involvement will work out fine and there will be no long lasting repercussions.

“Look Back Before You Act,” the most important sentence. No more money to terrorists next door to rebuild just to spend it on tunnels. The refusal of 5 peace deals is telling. Trump told the world no more rinse and repeat.

Hilarious to us, but still to stilted for the MAGA denizens who have checked their bank accounts and have squat in them. Those that do have millions are as amoral as ally cats to people or nations and could care less

Right. Right. Geniuses... Maga Geniuses. bsky.app/profile/lane...

* "the mistake that the West has made with Putin is the same mistake it made with Hitler. Appeasement doesn’t work. One fascist dandelion quickly spreads to the entire lawn, and then the threat is exponentially more dire. You don’t negotiate with Nazis. You have to kill them. There’s no other way."

Okay experts this is a challenge directed at y’all… WE THE PEOPLE want a PRESIDENTIAL RE- DO ELECTION! Now I’ve done some research on the matter it’s not easy but I strongly believe we are in strange & unusual times the constitution does answer the question. I’m throwing down the gauntlet.

Teenagers have been asking that for generations. I remember. Some teachers attempted to justify knowledge by finding applications for each fact to a hypothetical adult life. Two teachers said that you need knowledge in general. They both gave solid explanations. The kids listened better.
