It won’t be enough to conduct investigations and hearings and to impeach them if we win in November. They have to go. The Dems have to commit to eliminating this cancer. We can’t wait two more years while the regime ruins the world. He has the cops, the courts and the army. We only have our numbers.

Why are Democratic Senate candidates winning in states that Trump won by 10+ points? Corruption and war. Two issues that transcend party divides.

Ooh, a “glitch.” The GOP has spent a decade planting their own on election commissions in state and local districts, just so “glitches” like this will surprisingly occur.

For ten years, kids between 8 and 18 have seen that leaders lie, cheat, steal from their fellow citizens, cover for each other, take bribes openly, pay brutes to attack and kidnap innocents, rape teens, ignore the law, and confuse community with communism. We are gonna be in deep shit in 20 years.

AI has ruined zombie scrolling. That cute baby and his mom aren’t real. That leap across a mountain pass - eh, looks fake. The hot girl or guy? Probably enhanced. There’s no engagement, just skepticism. It’s a huge downer. Prediction: This fad ends in a year.

A fun game to play with friends is “For What Crime Will Trump End Up in Prison?” I pick selling pardons, but the options are limitless! Fun variation: “For What Sin Will Trump Burn in Hell Forever?”

Every day with Trump as President is another day we allow an infantile criminal with borderline personality disorder and dementia the chance to launch nuclear weapons. Sleep tight!

Not so long ago if a gangster or crooked pol went after a paper or even one reporter, EVERY newspaper would investigate those crooks till citizens knew every speck of dirt and the SOBs ended up out of office, in prison. So on Monday every US reporter should be working on a statutory rape story.

Little Marco Rubio has decided to ghost us. He knows the Iran fiasco and the economic fallout will destroy his presidential dreams. Watch for resignation announcement very soon for unrelated reasons.

GOP Congress, SCOTUS, GOP officials, armed forces top officers - none of them are ever going to stand up for legit elections - not out of loyalty to anyone or political beliefs. They’re bought. Their ambitions rest on their corruption. They’ve already betrayed us, and won’t be changing their minds.

So despite all sorts of economic turmoil and inflation and corruption and exploding debt, the stock market continues to climb… Why? Can anyone give a solid reason? AI? Our retirements are so screwed.

Perhaps Trump did us a favor by offering a $5k bribe to voters on the anniversary of 9/11. He made the question crystal clear: When we vote in November, will we act as men and women of honor like the 9/11 heroes? Or will we sell our freedom for chump change and confirm we are fools before the world?

Just a note to all the “when he dies” posts: When and if he goes, all the traitors, thieves, grifters and racist minions will still be in place, led by a hypocrite serf to delusional billionaires, a man with no honor or sense of duty. They’ll be just as corrupt and evil, but maybe a bit less senile.

It’s called buying votes on layaway. Vote for us and we’ll pay you every month. They’d never go through with it, but the suckers will go for it every time. Pay me cash AND take another shot at single black moms? Doesn’t get more MAGA - especially the part where they never really pay anyone.

AI is no different than social media, in that the real potential for harm comes not from the technology but from the deluded egomaniacs that run these companies and the grifting investors inflating their capabilities. How Scared Should We Be of A.I. Right Now? www.nytimes.com/2026/09/05/o...

nytimes.comOpinion | How Scared Should We Be of A.I. Right Now?The dark and distressing way that Silicon Valley talks about A.I. can be traced to a philosophy that influenced many tech executives.

Why don’t state attorneys general charge David Steiner with election interference and issue warrants for his arrest? The Constitution says the states are manage all elections, no exceptions, no excuses for federal interference. SCOTUS gave Trump a pass, but not Steiner. Arrest him.

The fact that the midterm elections will be close is a condemnation of our electoral system’s integrity, and of the American people for their apathy, racism, cowardice and ignorance. That said, it can all be turned around if we vote a resounding blue and astound the world. So are we a heroic people?

It’s only “No-Win” if your purpose in your leadership job is keeping one deluded, corrupt wanna-be king happy, not saving your nation and its people from economic ruin. Because if the latter is what counts, it’s a decision a high-school senior could make.

TV news in CT reported on a poll inspired by ICE kidnappings in Danbury - 49% CT citizens said “they feel safer” thanks to ICE taking their neighbors from their families with no warrants, picking out those with brown skin, beating and kicking those who don’t resist, targeting schools. Sickening.

A question I don’t know the answer to: We all know the Trump regime and its oligarch backers and the corrupt Congress and SCOTUS will pull every illegal, dirty trick in the book to disrupt and trash the midterm elections. The question is, how are progressives organizing to stop them from succeeding?

I don’t understand why state attorneys general can’t file criminal charges against Trump and GOP officials like Vought, Kushner, Johnson, Hegseth, Kennedy and others who we know have committed crimes affecting residents of individual states. OK they can’t touch Trump, but not the rest of the gang?

The NYTimes ignored Chris Murphy’s new book Crisis for the Common Good - big mistake. The book speaks clearly & powerfully for a return to building community and a shared purpose, and turning our backs on cults, hate & corporate propaganda. An inspiring call to action. share.google/sXhFvY8Wlwcb...

share.googleCrisis of the Common Good - Chris MurphyToday, the United States is in a crisis—and it’s not just a political one: over fifty years, the pursuit of profit has undermined virtue and character, while too many of us have become convinced that ...

Sometimes I try to imagine the Republican caucus way back when someone proposed, “What if we just lie every time we speak? And we only run thieves, fools and pedophiles for office? And we never stand for anything that helps people, and only get angry about meaningless idiocy?” Did anyone vote no?

When and if we take America back from the oligarchs and their hack officials and flack media, I look forward to the trials and swift sentencing, presided over by this distinguished judge.

Our President sleeps, runs cheap scams, flies with his blondes to rallies and blathers embarrassing gibberish, flails at a golf ball with armed guards and missile launchers. But that’s not the bad part. The bad part is the nation is being run off a cliff by uncontrolled gangsters, haters and nuts.

Today in @thenation.com: a harrowing piece written from inside the Dilley ICE detention center by Maryam Tahmasebi, a green card holder who's been locked up along with her husband and son for months despite none of them committing any crime. www.thenation.com/article/soci...

thenation.comOne Woman’s Message From the Hell of ICE DetentionMy husband, son, and I have been locked up for months—despite being permanent residents with no criminal record. It is an unendurable, unending nightmare.

If campaigning on affordability wins back Congress and establishes legislative integrity, so be it. But history won’t focus on economic incompetence in the Trump era, but on the cruelty of its murderous policies on race and children’s health, and on the corruption and narcissism of its leadership.

“ICE won’t interfere with election sites because they’re controlled by the states.” And I’m sure we can rely on state and local police to arrest ICE agents who seize ballots or voting machines. They don’t interfere with kidnapping or manslaughter, but checking IDs in a voters line? That’s too far.

It’s not Cassidy. It’s all of them. The far right learned they can control the minds of ignorant Americans by controlling corporate media and running corrupt candidates who spew a consistent bombardment of lies and racism. Once elected, they take their orders from the wealthy that pay them.

There are some people in the world that only behave like decent human beings if they believe in hell and eternal damnation. Which is how you can tell every Republican in the Senate is a phony Christian.

One-third of our economy is invested in AI? So that’s 1/3 of our future invested in bad writing, bad art, bad code, bad service, bad government, bad analysis, bad education, bad business, a bad environment, and fewer jobs. Aren’t these the same guys that sold us credit-default swaps?
