Two former Governors of South Carolina - one from each party - have endorsed Democrat Annie Andrews who is running against Sen. Darline Graham R-SC

This is a significant indicator of Trump’s current extreme defensiveness and vulnerability heading into the elections. According to the Factbase database, Trump’s Maher rant yesterday was his longest social media post ever, out of the 97,457 posts dating back to 2011.

After 2024, there hasn’t been a single statewide election where Republicans beat polling averages. Instead, in 7 elections Democrats beat their polls every single time. Objectively we can’t conclude on 3 November 2026, Trump will again outperform the polls.

The Writers Guild on Musk blocking releasee of the documentary "Musk": "A small handful of billionaires now own virtually every major media company, news outlet, and social media platform and are demonstrating how this unchecked concentration over our news and media threatens democratic discourse."

I used Claude AI to highlight in green House districts likely to flip to D. The grey districts are tossups. You can see Dema making significant inroads in exurb and rural areas, particularly in the Midwest. Also of interest are border districts in Texas and Arizona.

Have you all noticed the disconnect between Trump completely blowing off political popularity, and his laser-focus on directing his administration to interfere with voting? It’s very strange. As RB Ghiat said, to retain power, autocrats still carefully boost popularity, while also rigging elections.

The Trump Regime is making up bullshit about election fraud to disenfranchise millions of voters. @kamlager-dove.house.gov visited the LA County Ballot Processing Center & joins me to explain their security procedures & to give the latest on how CA is fighting back. youtu.be/JvE3FcOiaXs?...

86 degrees Fahrenheit: That's the water temperature in the Nino zone of the eastern Pacific at last measuring. And it's still rising.

Breaking News! Code UFB!!! It takes 2 weeks to confirm ocean sea surface temperatures and the long wait is finally over. The first day in recorded history with Nino 3.4 SST at or above 30.0°C is now officially on the record. October 7, 2026: 30.000°C. climatereanalyzer.org/clim/sst_dai...

Elon Musk gave $158 million to the GOP’s Senate super PAC in a last-ditch effort to head off Democratic momentum. That’s 58% of everything it raised last quarter.

Obscured by Trump’s dismal second term is the complete lack of progress in Dems popularity! But if Ds win both houses 3 Nov, there is little they can do to stop Trump. Impeachments need 2/3 Senate and will fail. But they CAN pass *immensely popular* bills and force a Trump veto.

“Look at France! How awful” says the US corporate media days before the elections. Yet what France actually demonstrates is how Americans should have protested the Trump administration’s gutting of $1 trillion in benefits under the OBBB and DOGE. The French would NEVER have tolerated that shite.

Outstanding. More of this, please. Elon Musk is a white nationalist troll using the billions he made off government contracts to destroy this nation. Light. Him. Up.

On No Kings Day, 7 million Americans turned out to protest the Trump administration. Here's the wonderful front-page coverage furnished by NYT. (There isn't any).

Is it just me? With days to go until November 3, the daily news headlines seem very odd, as if this election isn’t important, as if Trump is a ‘normal’ President? As if this election doesn’t have enormous consequences for the United States, and the world’s democracies? Seems weird.

Republican Senator John Cornyn of Texas calls to investigate Republican President Trump's Aid and Comfort to Russia/Putin. Zelensky confirmed Starlink continues to disconnect above 161km/h - Ukraine can't intercept Russian drones, and tests outside Ukraine border show the sabotage is willful.

The New York Times reported today that Trump has run ‘hot and cold’ between Ukraine vs. Russia. Baloney. His every show of support for Ukraine has been a feint, while his baseline is Russia, Russia, Russia. Always has been.

People need to understand that the only reason Trump backed down on SpaceX and Starshield so quickly is that he got push back right away, politically and from Ukraine. He is a bully and a coward. Stop criticising Zelensky for standing up to him.

The press, aided by Trump admin leaks, always underestimates and nitpicks on Ukraine, never Russia. Stop it!

Now more than ever, the WH press corps needs to stop pretending that the Trump press briefing is a legit govt exercise instead of propaganda. I'd say avoid it at all costs but if you insist on going, front load questions with facts, be persistent AND stand up for your fellow reporters.

1. Trump’s new White House press secretary Katie Zacharia is a prolific user of Truth Social where she regularly promoted Pizzagate and QAnon conspiracies, accusing elites in the Democratic Party and Hollywood of running child sex rings and eating people.

What this vicious personal attack letter from Treasury Secretary Bessent means to Elizabeth Warren is, her criticisms must have been absolutely right. You don’t need to stoop to this level unless you feel absolutely cornered, which Bessent is actually. US Treasury yields are totally out of control.

Just read it. Bessent wrote Warren a letter

Yes!! Yes!! “ABC, CBS, Fox News and NBC — said on Monday that they would suspend those efforts, which entail distributing footage that is carried by news organizations worldwide.”

The huge opportunity to redefine what Democrats stand for is lost. After 10 long years, the persona of the Democratic party has been defined by Donald Trump. The party has devolved into The Party of Trump Opposition. In the mind of the public, when Trump is gone, Democrats will represent nothing.
