Had a meet up with some Animator friends of mine! This was the first time we all got to see each other IRL because two of them came all the way from Mexico. It was incredible to finally meet you all in person! Absolutely wonderful wonderful people 💫

Sure I have my problems with how the OOT remake looks and the last direct didn't have a whole lot exciting for me personally... But also Nintendo is the only one regularly putting out games, isn't drooling to use AI and lay off staff and updates to their console actually feel consumer friendly

Also let me say I think this would actually be great if they confirmed alongside it that discs will continue to be produced into the new generation and can still be installed online. This is a pro consumer move in the long run and I'm happy to see them do it but I'm also weary of Xbox right now

Of all the films we could hate on right now it shouldnt be a independant made with passion 2D animated movie made by and for people of a marginalized group. Yeah some of the writing isnt great but the people who made it clearly cared about it. There is a BIG difference between slop and flawed art

If Splatoon Raiders had a little more inspiring Level Design and more variation in the Environments I think it would have been one of my favorite games ever made. As it stands it's still phenomenal but almost every level looks like that island at the end of Superman Returns
