Another reminder that if you are in the NYC area, I am keynoting the Phoenix House annual gala. Robert Deniro spoke last year! The Phoenix House provides recovery services to those who can't afford them. It's a great cause. Come by! I may even try a karaoke spot after the event!

The insanity is palpable in startup world. My startup has an Aptar device killer (used in NARCAN and 17 other products). We can’t raise our $10M Series A *that will take us THROUGH launch*. Ppl are walking away from a yr1 $20M ARR (Narcan purchased for $750M at $20M ARR). Insane.

This is a fantastic idea. Addiction needs to be treated as a multi-system disorder and desperately needs innovation. Full support!

Ted Sweeney@mrfriendlywalk.bsky.social

we will continue to have very few and largely undersupported addiction treatment research endeavors as long as there are so many billions of dollars to be made on the products that cause those addictions, regardless of the human and social consequences

Does anyone have a contact for Ann ? Would love to discuss with her the possibility of partnering with her to publish her cartoons exclusively on @bluesky

Aaron Parnas@aaronparnas.bsky.social

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public. He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit. Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.
