Cheesecake factory is a good place to go if you want to spend 90 minutes trying to decide which of the 300 entrees to order

Just went to read a gift article and they still wanted me to log in. Why? Why do I need to log in to read the free article? Why are you such sluts for my data?

The scandal here is that they found out she has a maiden name, which is of course the same as her brother, and instead of coming to the extremely logical conclusion it's because they have the same father, they assume she married her brother.

“Therefore, because she used a fake name to be sworn in, I assume she must IMMEDIATELY resign from Congress. Please inform the Speaker of the House of Representatives, James Michael Johnson, that the Dumocrat Party has just conceded her seat.”

Two weeks before an election, I think the GOP should absolutely go on camera and talk about how private citizens should be punished by their government for not giving their public officials the attention and admiration they demand.

Oh no, now Republicans want the NFL to fine the Bengals for ignoring JD. They are the whiniest little snowflakes I swear

Interesting how we never find a good universal term for swim attire. The UK call it a swimming costume, which seems like you wear it for Halloween and a bunch of other people call it a bathing suit which is probably not appropriate for the office.

Ohio Trump voter: I voted for Trump 3 times and he isn't doing what he said he was going to do. He should put America first like he said he would.

Pete Hegseth trails behind the crowd while running with troops in San Diego

Hegseth really said no weirdos, beardos, and fatties allowed in the military and then introduced three guys to lead a military initiative who are weird, bearded, and fat.

*Trump abducts democratic candidates and arrests liberals enmasse ahead of the midterms* The media headlines: "Trump tests the boundaries of his power with unconventional election tactics"

The snf football song is just the formula for "i hate myself for loving you" by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.

So these not real people have enrolled in the ACA, pay a monthly premium, but don't get care to somehow defraud the system? I didn't know i could make money by not getting Healthcare.

holy shit, dems actually have a chance to flip the PA Senate and NC leg to get trifectas in both states I have updated the optimized state donation list so we can donate to these candidates that just need a little bit of $ to take advantage of what could be the biggest blue wave in history

Sam@samd.bsky.social

I love Talarico and hope he wins. But he’s already raised $70M On the flipside, control of critical state legislatures will come down to seats where candidates raise 0.1% of that. I’ve researched the highest leverage swing district candidates you should donate to secure.actblue.com/donate/donat...

Interesting thought: perhaps trumps previous assassination attempts were meant to be successful, giving himself lasting notoriety in death.

Allison Gill@muellershewrote.com

Lincoln. Kennedy. It’s a pattern now. He’s fascinated by assassinations. Makes you wonder how far a narcissistic megalomaniac would go to muscle in on that club. www.ms.now/news/trump-f...

The oligarchy spends vast amounts of money to elect Republicans to make more money. Those same oligarchs spend vast amounts of money to elect centrist dems in elections Republicans can't win to keep from losing money.

Kevin M. Kruse@kevinmkruse.bsky.social

My entire life I've heard centrists scolding leftist candidates with "oh, but how will we pay for all that? isn't your agenda unreasonable? shouldn't we run on a modest proposal for means-tested tax rebates?" Then Mamdani gets elected and makes it all look pretty easy. No wonder they hate him.

Not only did I meet Robert Kraft, I worked for him. His kid Jonathan asked me to “remove the black music” from my gameday playlist in ‘94 & I refused so they fired me. I was the cheerleader director at the time. I sued them for wrongful termination and won. So yes, I know that motherfucker.

brutusdavis99.bsky.social@brutusdavis99.bsky.social

Did you ever meet Bob Kraft?

"I'm not getting involved because I'm not a political person" Ok but politics is going to affect your life and everyone in it, regardless of how uncomfortable it makes you. No stance is a stance.

Not sure who doesn't already know this, but if an account immediately reposts something you wrote, and their name is something like "Help save my family from the war in xxx" it's most certainly a scam.

"If the current conservative majority is incapable of facilitating this benefit to the American people before the election, rather than simply using it as an empty promise to get people to the polls and keep them in power, the democrats are ready to take charge and get it done."

Call their bluff, write up a bill TODAY to issue checks before the election, and then remind the voters that Republicans are lying to them, as they take every measure possible to kill the bill.

"We think issuing a refund to Americans is a great idea. They have been struggling with rising costs due to tarrifs, and rising healthcare costs due to conservative meddling into the ACA, and it would be helpful to get some of that money back to them..."

"Trump doesn't need a republican majority in congress to achieve this, because we're also on board with this idea. We do think it's odd that they currently have a majority in congress but won't issue the checks today..."

Telling the fed reserve to ignore all the red flags and stop doing the things to keep a recession from happening bc it might make the oligarchy incapable of being as rich as they want to be.

A Fed governor says the central bank should act if inflation doesn’t improve soon. The Treasury secretary says high energy prices are a shock the Fed should look past. on.wsj.com/4i7XAhx

"We don't give a shit what happens to the lesser people, regulation is a financial burden when we could be putting that money in our own, overflowing pockets."

Just finished replaying a video game series called Horizon and it's about a narcissistic rich guy who built machines to make everyone's life easier but then he also made the machines dependent on consuming the earth's biomass for fuel and then he made machines to automatically make machines so

They just kept making themselves and then consumed all of the earth's resources and then a very smart woman came up with a plan to repopulate the earth's resources after the machines ate everything but don't worry all the rich people fled earth to start their own planet but they fucked that one up

too so they just came back to earth after thousands of years to kill off all the humans that repopulated in order to have a clean slate earth to reinhabit and anyway that's also what they're doing in real life with data centers.
