Monday, I was laid off from my job of 27 years at Bethesda Game Studios. Shock is an understatement. I’m not sure how to feel about it right now, especially since I’ve received no communication other than the teams call about their hard decisions. So I’m kind of in limbo.

I am not really used to posting anything anywhere; I've never even used this Bluesky account. But I got laid off from Bethesda Game Studios this week. I was a bargaining rep for our union. I applied to work here five times starting when I was 18. I had 0 experience the first couple times I applied.
