Gm friends✨ Today I had the pleasure of participating in a special program about 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐁𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐚 on the main Brazilian TV channel. For those who understand Portuguese, the full recording is available on the comments. Also check out the link to my book on the subject. #streetfood #bahia

"Fazer junto" looks at artistic productions made in Brazil between 2002 and 2019: works by Poro that have to do with food, cooking, graphic imaginary, picnics, street food and public space;

The research is divided into two parts: Canteiros [Planting beds] and Fazer junto [Doing it together]. "Canteiros" explores three historical references from the 1960s to 1980s: the series Inserções em circuitos ideológicos [Insertions into ideological circuits] by Cildo Meireles;

This research investigates how some works of contemporary art have related to food in a systemic way and how they contribute to the formation of a critical and poetic imaginary about food systems.
