WIP Metals based, noil down. I think I'll leave finishing this guy for tomorrow. Soon, then the only stormcast eternals left are characters. I think I started 40k salamanders so I wouldn't have to stop painting this scheme. I may yet get more stormcast. They are really quite a good time to paint

This being from an obscure fast food chain giveaway comic is great. Trying to think of the last time I could go somewhere and get a little comic meant for kids to get their gross hands all over. Disposable in the best way.

Good Morning WIP Just got the decals down on the first Armageddon intercessor, went p smooth. I do this after I base the metals bc I'm about to put shade paints everywhere and these help lower the shininess of the decals and blend them in nicely. Vulkan Lives!

a little tiny microscopic dragon, rotifers passing by. I've spent a lot of time peering down a microscope in the last few years, enjoyed taking inspiration from the real tiny organisms to make one of my own.

The Promethean Wardens stormhost is frequently misunderstood by those not familiar with them. Reforging has some consistent effects in this stormhost, such as the obsidian black skin and faintly luminous burning red eyes, which are both occasionally frightening and unlike most stormcast 1/?

Good Morning WIP Based on the box art, I found stormcast eternals kind of boring looking. Painting them has largely changed my mind. They're pretty fun. Lots of real estate if you want to paint designs on them.

The whole 40k scheme on AoS is pretty rewarding so far. If somebody were able to paint knotwork and sculpt fur, making Stormcast Space Wolves would be at as cool a thing as humans can aspire to. Not me tho. Nowhere near that level of skill (yet)

WIP Time for a lil break, then I have lots of fire to paint. She doesn't get a shield bc she has the big hammer, so I may put more fire on her armour to make up for it.

WIP I'm not happy with this batch of flames, I was a little sloppy and didn't thin my yellow near enough. I reckon it'll still look great in the end but I'm going to leave the metals to tomorrow and do something easier.
