There’s something really special about using Siri AI just for learning and curiosity. It’s an incredible tool that I wish my younger self had access to.

Revolut charges a premium and they don’t even have cloud redundancy. That’s not serious. Don’t store your life’s savings with them, or any digital bank, for that matter. Traditional banks with physical branches are still the best way to guarantee access to your hard-earned cash.

Revolut said it is experiencing a service disruption, which may result in some services being inaccessible.

Google Cloud being down in Europe exposes European companies that still use American Big Tech, when we have great alternatives in Europe.

The EU is still in the early stages of discussing the 28th Regime for Innovative Companies. Many entrepreneurs hoping for EU Inc. are not remaining in Europe waiting for this, as time wasted doesn’t build their livelihoods, thus are leaving to the US every day for Delaware Inc.

The gym was once a daily routine for me. Then I moved around the world, got married, and became very busy building my online businesses to the next level. Not since 2021 have I been to a gym, until today.

I missed the feeling of blood pumping through my body during a workout, while new ideas flood my brain, leaving me itching to run back to my computer to code and create. That’s exhilarating.

Today's revelation of Revolut failing to keep your private information safe from the wrong hands, bolsters what I believe to be true: Traditional banks with physical branches are the safest institutions to safeguard your money and wealth. Digital banks are still humanless risks.

With digital banks like Revolut, every support chat feels like starting from square one with someone who doesn’t know me. Without that continuity, I don’t have the same confidence that someone will take responsibility and see the issue through.

Traditional banks earn my trust via real human connections. My branch managers know me by name, and I know theirs. I can email or call them from anywhere in the world and consistently get the help I need. I’ve built relationships with them.

Good timing to ask this question, as @automattic.com has put @wordpress.org founder @ma.tt on a paid leave of absence: www.404media.co/wordpress-au... And to answer my own question: No, I haven't. Been using WordPress since 2009, with great success, with no plans to stop.

Have you vibe coded yourself away from WordPress yet?

This is a short clip I recorded in November 2018 with my iPhone XS Max at the time, at Alouette Lake, when I was living in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. I visited this beautiful location often to manifest the future I am living today.

Linux is buzzing right now, partly because of Omarchy by DHH, and partly because many PC users are tired of Windows. Been there, done that—I left Windows for Macintosh in 2008. I still like the Mac, but I’m curious… if not Omarchy, which distro do most Linux users recommend?

Due to watermarking, I’ve cancelled my Claude Max subscription, which I was using for Claude Code in VS Code. Should I switch to ChatGPT’s Codex, or is there something better?

I use the iPhone 16 Pro Max, and increasingly think my next smartphone will be a foldable. It looks like the form factor that will finally let me code on the go. The Samsung Z Fold 8 and Oppo Find N6 are both pulling me in that direction. Let’s see what Apple offers next month.

We use four web analytics tools across our @solespire.com sites. Each gets something right, yet each is needed to fully understand different data points. That’s problematic. Google Analytics is the worst of all. It does a lot, but somehow makes everything harder than it needs to be.

These never stopped being great. Apple EarPods play Apple Music in true lossless quality, through the 3.5mm headphone jack, while AirPods, via Bluetooth, do not. That’s a plus, but the bigger positive is that on my iMac I can now keep Bluetooth turned off.

I recently read Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind by Shunryu Suzuki on a flight across the world. Beginner’s mind is not a lack of knowledge. It is the ability to learn without allowing what we already know to close what remains possible.

We can make a sincere effort without becoming attached to the result. We can pursue excellence without allowing ambition to pull us away from the work in front of us. When nothing extra is added, even ordinary actions become complete.

Everything changes. Peace is not found by holding life still, but by becoming present enough to move with it. Learn deeply. Work with care. Remain open. The challenge is to become more capable without becoming less curious.

One of the book’s deepest lessons is that life is not preparation for life. Practice is not merely a path to some future destination. The way we sit, work, create, and meet this moment is the path itself.
