Trump says 'very dangerous' for UK to do business with China as Starmer lands in Shanghai www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... So it’s ok for HIM to go to China in April but not for our country to engage. I am sick of this fool.

Whilst two wrongs don’t make a right and Trump is right to call Iran out, the sight of the man whose forces murdered a woman in full view of the world lecturing others on peaceful protest is a bit hard to bear. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cy...
When you are arresting people in their middle years and over 500 of them in one sitting you have to question the wisdom of your policy. If the policy is right then you have to carry hearts and minds. It is sad that our government seems incapable of doing so. www.bbc.com/news/article...
@yvettecooper-mp.bsky.social risks losing all credibility over Palestine Action. She says it is not non-violent and she may well be correct since we don’t have all her data. But given the scenes in Westminster today it is essential that the government communicates the reality she asserts.
MP Rupert Lowe displays a superb example of confirmation bias. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

"As someone who used to visit the Scottish Islands regularly, and a member of several local online groups, I see a growing anti-campervan sentiment. Locals call motorhomers who park in scenic places “freeloaders” and openly discuss harassing them"
@bbcnewsnight.bsky.social why does the BBC keep referring to Reform UK as a political party? Call it what it is - a company with Farage and Tice as directors. In the interests of impartiality the true nature of Reform needs to be called out day after day.
Here we go! We are going to reform everything….. but er…..don’t hold us to any timescales and don’t ask us what we will do. In the meantime we will cancel essential council meetings so government effectively is on hold until we deem it necessary. Life under Reform. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Fascinating (and damning) that the Times of India is reporting the Brexit truths the UK press won’t. The cost to UK businesses is staggering—but our politicians and media stay silent. Why is foreign press doing their job for them? #BrexitReality timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/uk/the...
To anyone who voted Brexit I sincerely hope that when you or your relatives are ill they can obtain the medicine they need.
“Elevated and troubling levels of medicine shortages.. The UK has had the lowest import growth in medicines of any G7 country, driven by a reduction in EU imports,” The recklessly stupid Brexit monster raises one of its many heads again. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

Makes me so cross this. If it’s good enough for young people why is not good enough for me? You cannot expect our youth to give up that mobility so the demands for rejoin will grow but I find it all very ageist. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

“The economic cost of Brexit, reliably estimated at around 5% of GDP and with a total loss to government coffers by 2035 of over £300bn, is unlikely to be offset by attempting to ‘make Brexit work’ – a slogan which rather confirms that it hasn’t” westenglandbylines.co.uk/news/brexit/...
