I've been dreaming about the return of Souplantation and it feels like there is light at the end of the tunnel. markazali.blogspot.com/2026/10/soup...

It's frustrating when it feels like an operating system developer doesn't consider the length of history for many users. I put down some thoughts markazali.blogspot.com/2026/09/appl...

I’m not sure if this is related but this is the reason I still rewatch Signs and Unbreakable.

It’s good that Warner Brothers put a ton of old Looney Tunes stuff on YouTube. It’s even better that it’s HD and not cropped. Disney should take note!

Is this thing from Marco's Pizza an actual "pizza"? I don't know markazali.blogspot.com/2026/08/marc...

Apple really doesn't know how to fix the small things. On icloud.com you can't even download a shared album via a zip file. What a miserable experience. I'm sure this is a lot easier on macOS but I'm on Windows

Dr. Fauci, who saved millions of lives in the USA, is getting treatment harsher than all the Epstein perpetrators. America is fundamentally damaged to its core.

I'm looking forward to watching full episodes of SNL on YouTube (officially) markazali.blogspot.com/2026/07/yout...

Facebook Marketplace is bad. I don't think Facebook has any business creating a new app for buying/selling things because all Facebook wants you to do is scroll forever. markazali.blogspot.com/2026/07/face...

Eve is from Philadelphia. Look up recent interviews with her!

It's so annoying that I pay Google and their home security service is still bad! I miss Nest so much. markazali.blogspot.com/2026/07/goog...

a couple of thoughts about IMAX

The more complex and unnecessary this event becomes, the more it feels like a security risk for some very high profile people.

I’m so happy this is on YouTube now because I can just watch it whenever I need to laugh or remember how good the first SNL UK cast is Being able to drop f bombs really opens the door for comic range and very good crass humor youtu.be/TBXrFlBzXG4?...

I saw "Do The Right Thing" for the first time recently. I also learned "bet" came from, simply.... "you bet". This movie came out in 1989!

You have so much to lose by having a public Venmo. There is no reason for it!

Looking forward to seeing how many people get fired on November 1 for an offensive costume this year.

the oval office is looking sooooo tacky lately www.flickr.com/photos/white...

youtu.be/0gpwcaNyIrY?... There’s so much going on here It’s like Star Wars episode 4-6 modding on steroids. Cleaning up images and upscaling is one thing but generating images that were not originally captured by the camera really qualifies this as a new film completely

“Ethan. It’s over. Move on. That’s an order!” “I just need one… more… shot… I’m not leaving without a second bucket”

Nature is so crazy. A plant can just do nothing exciting for years and all of a sudden decide to flower www.reddit.com/r/gardening/...

The Constantine 4K transfer is so good. It’s reference quality. It’s amazing how good this encode is considering how vfx heavy this movie is. The cinematography holds up really well.

You can’t read stuff like this without feeling nearly every emotion possible.

Doing what I can

Imagine being the only house standing after the mass destruction around you. Insane www.reddit.com/r/LosAngeles...

I was watching the Kill Bill 4K (streaming) and it's really unfortunate that the movie wasn't rescanned. Every Tarantino movie looks so much better in 4K. Yes, the colors look better from HDR. Yes there is an occasional wow moment in detail, but compared to other great 4K encodes, this one meh.
