As a reminder, it's about this and staying out of jail. Everything else is running cover for it. bsky.app/profile/chri...

Good morning. Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors. It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.

i am inviting anyone from a legacy media organization to explain to me why the house judiciary dems report on trump’s epstein’s ties and multiple allegations of rape isn’t worthy of extensively reporting on. i’m serious. i want to understand.

Americans, immigration isnt about letting evil people in, it's about letting conservative governments use it for cover to blame people while they profit. ICE is costing us way, way more than having immigration. The British have found out to their cost, let's do the same.

To everyone getting their knickers in a twist… All because @andyburnham.bsky.social suggested a sensible conversation about freedom of movement …do you perhaps need reminding of this?

Republicans. They are always telling you who they are... Don't try to interpret them, don't make excuses for them.

Until this moment, Vivek, I think I never really gauged your cruelty or your recklessness… Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?

SO HERE’S MY POINT. Stop explaining away what politicians say. Let them speak. Let them defend their own decisions. Let Americans examine their records.

After a hell day of epic f-ups by Frontier inc. a cancelled flight and two rebookings I've arrived at MCO in Orlando... America is not the greatest country in the world and won't be until we stop voting in Republicans. Flying cars my ass...

Never ever grant an AI agent the ability to act as you. If the service doesn't provide support for delegated or 3rd party permissions you are risking everything. If the 2016 election taught is anything, controls, privacy and first person identity stop nothing www.axios.com/2026/10/22/a...

axios.comScoop: Unvetted AI agents are accessing U.S. bank accountsBanks including Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, JPMorgan, Wells Fargo and others are racing to contain agent risks.

Can someone in or around Denver find a supplier of ICE style face coverings and hats and order a few thousand and give them out free to people at polling stations? I'll happily donate... What's good for the goose...

About 2 million kids have lost SNAP since deep cuts were enacted last year. The ripple effects: Kids losing SNAP also lose automatic enrollment for free meals at school. And as more kids lose SNAP, their schools may be forced to drop Community Eligibility.

Time for a classic. Newsweek - March 17th, 1975. Mobil - Now Exxon Mobil. Capitalism works for business not people. "Energy from the sun? Eventually But let’s put coal to work now."

It's so embarrassing, the dynamic duo trying to save the oompa-loompa by pleading to get gas from Russia at Ukraines expense. "I'll end the war on day-1" almost 2-years later no end in sight and another war started

⛽ Could Russian gas flowing through Ukraine’s pipelines help bring a ceasefire? That is reportedly what Washington’s envoys have urged Kyiv and Europe to consider.

Tommy Tuberville is ahead of Democrat Doug Jones by about 11 points in the Alabama governor’s race. His talking points say a lot about the intelligence level of Alabamians.

When reading about the Trump bailout for Farms, it's pure socialism. The government caused this problem, they caused rising prices and diesel fuel prices - It seized the means of production, indirectly. While the farmers will get the money, we get no food for $12b, our prices are high.

usatoday.comTrump announces $8 billion in diesel relief for U.S. farmersPresident Trump announced $8 billion in diesel relief for U.S. farmers during harvest. USDA says payment rates will be released in November.

Trump is literally taking our tax money and giving it to farmers in exchange for jack shit. He continues to use the government as his personal bank to garner favorable feedback.

I know little about CU Football, but I can tell you this much - if this were soccer in Europe the news would be already swirling about manager replacements not inspiring excuse stories - hopefully the CU alumni are pleased with their investments the same way the Saudis are with Manchester City

I have a NEW WEBSITE to provide media, advocates and policymakers a summary of what's known about the economic impacts of ICE activity in the second Trump administration! Please check it out, share widely, and lmk what else would be helpful here. theiceeffect.org

It's the American way, over provision everything as it's solidly tax deductible and many go bankrupt having taken the profit. Then the majors step in and buy the assets for pennies on the dollar. The final phase is they squeeze the consumers on price and we end up with no choice. /Ends

Always the same. Run up the bills, take the money, leave everyone else to pick up the tab. In steps &bigco. To buy up the assets. bsky.app/profile/carl...

Other countries treat it for what it is, infrastructure build it and unbundle the last 100ft and let companies buy in bulk like T-Mobile does, creates low overhead competition.

I REALLY hope Ting isn't funded by the Biden Infrastructure bill, otherwise it's just more corporate socialism. Ting is currently owned by Tucows Inc. - I guess I'll watch to see if they sell it, likely to Verizon.

The neighborhood was built with a lumen/Centurylink now AT&T fiber network which terminates at every house. Then Comcast/Xfinity came alongside and ran new fiber at the back of the house. This time it's Ting. We also have intrepid Fiber who lease to T-Mobile.

Not counting inflation from. The stupid war the President started for no good reason except he wanted to prove how biggly he was. The GOP / Republicans had already screwed the pooch

Time to set up a new media PC workhorse to do random things. Will connect to our main TV in the living room - bought off eBay for $130 Got to love the simplicity / design of these Dell Precision chassis. Oooh look it came with an NVIDIA P1000 graphics card which cost more than the PC it came in

Honestly, when these morons started falling for the grifters’ latest hoax, I thought Talarico should let it play out and see how many Republicans would take the bait and say something outrageously foolish. He did—and you did.

Well at least we don't have many data centers that support critical workloads.

ChrisO_wiki@chriso-wiki.bsky.social

1/ Restoring Yandex's damaged data centres will take at least six months and cost billions. Disruption is already severe; Russian manufacturers and distributors face imminent disaster due to Ukraine's strikes causing the collapse of the state-operated goods tracking system. ⬇️

Mortgaging their future for a short term profit. The Gold Rush is on, no one can say what will happen once it's built. A few will make money, everyone else will be screwed, that's what will happen. It's not complicated.

Getting rid of Citizens United should be on everyone’s shortlist for must-do’s, right alongside abolishing ICE

Robert Reich@rbreich.bsky.social

Billionaire families have spent $1.7 BILLION on the 2026 midterms so far — a 5,200% increase since the 2010 midterms. Citizens United is among the worst decisions in history. It corrupts our system every day. Big Money is the root of our dysfunction.

Man who won 2016 election with help from Russia, finally does the ultimate payback just so Russia can benefit from oil sales to said president and the deaths of thousands of Ukrainians.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Wow — listen to these new comments from Trump. Thanking Putin, trashing Zelenskyy, characterizing Russia as eager for peace and Ukraine as intransigent. The mask is totally off.
