The other day I proposed to my long time girlfriend Olivia, she said yes! It was truly a once in a lifetime experience to do in front of Kilauea, thank you Pele for this moment! #Engagement #volcano #proposal #Kilauea

Yesterday was all about ❤️, but today it’s about dedication. 💪 In the heart of Vietnam, these skilled women 🧵 mend fishing nets 🎣, weaving lifelines for their communities. A silent symphony of tradition, precision, and resilience 🌊

#wawx #thunderstorm This storm had supercell structure and apparent twin waterspouts, here with Mark Stewart and Matthew Pfab editing the photos. I'm still not believing what I saw. Very dark at the time, but did anyone else see this near Seahurst park, South of West Seattle?

One of my favorite images of all time. It’s rare that you get to see the landing point of a lightning strike. Special day, shooting with friends. #landscapes #nature #storms

"Emerge" Hello there! I thought I'd check out Bluesky and see what it's all about. I'm Kevin, and I have a passion for landscape and nature photography – and eating sushi. Here's one of my favorite photos, made during an unforgettable morning in the backcountry. #landscape #pnw #naturephotography

A single image of #CometG3ATLAS at sunset tonight from Western Wa! It’s so incredibly small during sunset time. But I bet it’ll be massive and stunning during full dark for the southern hemisphere in a few days. I wish we got more time with it here in the northern hemisphere.

Comet G3 Atlas is still extremely bright after its close passage with the sun and supposedly able to be photographed during daylight. Will be giving it a try later tonight to see if we can capture this beauty!

Twists and Turns Image captured on the beach last week. These patterns and colours just jumped out. However, I found it a bit challenging to be happy with the images I shot. This one was definitely my favourite of the little, though. #photography #nature #patterns #colours #details

The motion of water is by far one of my favorite things to shoot, the always changing texture and shape even flow direction. Love it!! #landscape #landscapephotography #longexposure #photography #waterfall #waterfallphotography #nature

So happy to have aurora already active in 2025! Here’s aurora road back in February of 2023. With the only bit of naked eye orange I’ve ever seen at bottom right. Which lasted a whopping 4-5 seconds max.

Happy Holidays to you all! I am in the PNW enjoying time with family. On Christmas Eve morning, I photographed epic waves on the Washington coast. It was thrilling as it was my first visit and the first time trying to capture the action.

As 2024 draws to a close, I'm in the mood of reviewing my work over the past year and, of course, picking favorites. These are some of my absolute favorite photos from the entire year! Can't wait for 2025 #landscape #nature #bluesky #photography #bestof2024

Hope everyone is enjoying the post Christmas glow. I’m currently in sunny and warm Arizona which has been great, but a small part of me yearns to be immersed in deep winter. Much like this image taken after a night of freezing fog in central Oregon.

Well, we are coming up quickly on the December 26th storm. If the 18z ECMWF is right, this will be the biggest impact for some areas of the Puget Sound since December 2006 Han Eve Storm. Not all models agree yet. But everyone needs to be aware of this potential!! #wawx

On the left, my image. On the right, the Al image that was clearly trained on, and designed to plagiarize, my image. All Al generated imagery is inherently theft. It's unethical, environmentally disastrous, and does irreparable harm to both artists and society.

The Canadian Rockies at winter. A playground for any landscape photographer lover. One of my favourite places in the world. #bluesky #photography #landscape #mountains #art #nature #landscapephotography
