Eric Bauza. Legend.

Blogs are the future. Read the new update on my pilot jumpherocomic.com/blogarchive/...

Oh yay! The new Links in bio are live (well, they are for me on desktop anyway)! These are pretty cool, now we don't have to spam links in the bio writeup anymore! Thanks @bsky.app @rose.bsky.team !

a cool thing about indie animation is that it's expected to save the entire industry, every show has to look better than the things the fans grew up on or it's a waste of time, there's no union to be found anywhere, no budget for any of it, and asking the audience to pay anything to watch is illegal

I'm the 4th marlene santos to ever exist (on imdb)

If you’re in the U.S., and especially if you’re 18-21, PLEASE vote blue on Tuesday, November 3rd. If you don’t think your vote matters, let me tell you: that is exactly what they want you to think. I’m old enough to have seen it matter many times. www.vote.org

Uptop is happy to be around Downlow because they are best friends forever like that. It's just that sadly i have to make him look annoyed in all the promo art because that's "an important part of the story" 😫

Someday I plan to have an actual studio name to put at the end of my animated series but we ain't there yet so you're getting my own logo from my own portfolio!!!!

a sponge in trouble

Every freaking time I open up DaVinci Resolve to work on the JumpHero pilot, it shows all my most recent projects (as it should) but I have to make eye contact with this thumbnail:

Thanks so much for reading #ChamomileComic! 500 comics!! More than 499, can say that much. Here's a new cover art for the occasion. It's hard to know where to go from here, but posting the 501st comic, next Sunday, seems like a good start. [ #jezmmart | #pinup | #characterart | #originalcharacter ]

Thank you all for supporting the second episode of Knights of Guinevere! We're so happy to bring such a wild story to life. Shoutouts to our extremely talented artists who designed every frame with care ❤️

The pilot soundtrack is such a bop, it gets stuck in my head and I'm so excited for you all to hear it

No one has vouched for Squiggly so....I think he's getting the ax in episode 2 😞

My old works are now available on Internet Archive! archive.org/details/@mar...

Amazing things are happening (i had to literally look this up and i never heard of "magdalena" for a cupcake before so we're going with loanwords i actually grew up with)

do you trust me with the jumphero spanish sub

Guys i'm writing the spanish sub

I checked again today. I have been purged in Alabama before. Everyone check!

I'm studying how to write Audio Descriptions, and I really love "the snowman glumly contemplates his noseless state" from the Frozen teaser trailer.

Gonna be doing blogs like every couple of weeks about the progress on the pilot. Here's the first! jumpherocomic.com/blogarchive/...

I appreciate commercials that have a genAI disclaimer, but also dang your company couldn't afford actors?

I'm moving onto post production and lemme tell you editing something you made yourself is nice but also really tough if you have a bit of a self-doubt problem because you *have* to look carefully at the thing you just made even if you're too scared to. 😭

I needed one W tonight and that was finally FINALLY deciding how i was gonna animate the combine power effect. I just needed to mess around in CSP but I think this will be the style I'm going for (plus I always imagined the red part expanding like that and I'm so glad it's now real)

I had a conversation w a Lyft driver a few weeks ago that I still think about. I hope this musician, eager to share her art, finds her way to teaching. While the conversation started rocky, Im glad she got an opportunity to talk about her ambitions. Piano teachers are way more valuable than A.I.

So I'm still not getting calls into work, payments are kicking my account down and needless to say... adulting is hard. I need a bit of help. Updated my kofi goal to accommodate everything. Any help is appreciated, thank you! Cashapp Venmo Kofi Partreon #mutualaid #helpsky #helpfolkslive2026
