My pup got poop stuck in his tail so ran around the house like he was being chased by the ghost of Scooby-Doo, flinging bits everywhere! Then scooched over all the carpets! Happy Friday!

There are so many remedies for getting the smell of garlic off your hands, but I don't understand why anyone would like to get the smell of garlic off their hands.

Be serious. Bert and Ernie are not “in love.” Maybe they used to be, once

The pup's groomer called while I was in Costco today (confirming tomorrow's groom!) She asked if I needed anything special for it and I said, quite loudly, "Do you do the anal squeeze?"

Bear in mind the man behind me had no context, so the gasp out of him was probably justified. Reminding you guys once again, that I'm often awkward in public. (she does do anal squeezes, fyi)

25 years ago, almost every plane that was over the North Atlantic when the second tower was hit was forced to land in Newfoundland. A call was on the radio: they needed folks who spoke various languages to come to the stadium to help organize the sea of humanity that just showed up at our door.

Weird how history repeats, eventually.

George IV was a drug addled, capricious, delusional monster obsessed with hyper gaudy interior design. He retreated from the real world and became convinced that he had defeated Napoleon at Waterloo.

Ended up staying until Christmas '98, this time returning to Canada with a husband and a daughter, having collected many, many great friends and memories from a trip that was only meant to be 3 1/2 months long. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow, kids.

I had arranged a room in a flat with a guys I met via a "small ad" in Q Magazine (we wrote to each other via letters, actual letters!), so went straight from Heathrow to his place in Marylebone. That night forced myself to go out, armed with my notebook to write a letter home (no internet, kids!)

I walked into Seymour's Pub, ordered a Canadian beer, and then straight onto the stool next to my (now) husband. The rest, as they say, is history. I stayed in London for a couple of months, backpacked through Europe by myself, then came home to Canada.

I love how he's purposely looking awful for this appearance - scruffy beard, zits, no make-up, squinty-eye etc. "Look how I was brutalized!"

No fucking shit buddy. This is what we were trying to tell you.

Dogs are so funny when you take them camping. 1st day they're all freaked out - "What was that noise?! What was that smell?!" By the 2nd night they're, "Ah, well, I guess we live in the woods now. "

Never felt older than my consistent mix-up saying "BTK" (serial killer) instead of "BTS" (super-hot Korean boy band, currently playing down the street from me.) #LeSigh
