Eine Recherche des SWR berichtet über neue Entwicklungen in einem deutschen Fall, der dem sogenannten Com-Netzwerk zugerechnet werden kann. Von CeMAS erhobene Daten in öffentlichen NVE-Kanälen und Gruppen weisen auf eine hohe Aktivität von Accounts hin, die der SWR dem Beschuldigten zuordnet.

Wir waren am Wochenende zusammen mit vielen tollen Ehrenamtlichen auf dem CSD in Leipzig und haben Einladungen für unsere neue Erhebung verteilt. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

One of the biggest misunderstandings of politics in our time is that the Left has become all about identity politics. The opposite is the case. The Left has (nearly everywhere) completely given up on shaping, representing, and mobilizing identities. Instead, the far right has successfully done it.

It is a small amount of money, for now, but it will be interesting to see which organizations will receive the money. Moreover, it is yet another step in the active attack on liberal democracy by the U.S. as was announced in its National Security Strategy.

Es bleibt dabei, dass die Erinnerungsarbeit an die tödliche Gewalt der extremen Rechten ohne zivilgesellschaftliches Engagement kaum stattfinden würde. Das fällt in eine Zeit, wo die Bedrohungskulissen wachsen.

This is a fantastic dataset for studying the evolution of political attitudes and party preferences in Germany. Here's a mosaic plot of vote choices in 2025 by vote choices in 2021 (as reported back then). One striking observation is the high volatility behind the overall gains of the Left Party.

Far-right voters are marked by persistent self-victimisation narratives.

This one is big. Great overview of the various currents within the populist family. Plus, it provides a rough template that one could use with regards to other ideological families. My immediate thought is that a taxonomy of the rapidly growing radical right would be especially compelling.
