I equipped the whip to fight Dracula in Belmont's Curse just because I wanted to play the part. But it's actually the optimal weapon to stay just out of range of most of his attacks and it's just perfect.

The issue with PvPvE is that if you balance for players facing both, the PvE by itself is too easy. If you balance PvE to be challenging by itself, players make it impossible/not worth it. For example completing the Arc Raiders frigate in PvP server? No way.

As expected. Cyberpunk is a setting, after all.

'Cyberpunk 2077' live-action movie won't be a 1:1 adaptation of the game 🎞️ It will tell a new story within the same universe (via PAPBiznes)

The Arc Raiders hideout system is very disappointing. It clearly was not ready. But I assume they will flesh it out with further updates.

Extremely early in “Welcome to Elderfield” (Stardew Valley meets horror/mythos). Very fun so far. Impeccable vibes, the music is excellent. You get daily events through the news so there’s a mystery every day. And the dice/luck system makes it fun to even rifle through garbage.

With the rising costs if anti cheat for online games, what are the odds that premium subscriptions will be required to play on “secure servers”?

>Valheim 1.0 >oh boy can’t wait to start a new adventure! >try to mentally map how to design my house so it doesn’t suck >always interrupted by fuckass greyling Good ol’ Valheim. I need to build a wall.

I’m a little disappointed in Reclaimed Land for Dying Light: The Beast. A mode where zombie kills are permanent but so is looting. You still get plenty if ressources and even cleared spots retain some zombies. It ends up being a normal replay with extra steps.

Streamers, voices are funny. Keep doing them. Especially if you try a voice for a character that is obscured that when revealed doesn’t match at all but you gotta keep committing for consistency.

“Alright, this is where the game really gets going: the Millennial Fair,” said the streamer, starting off in a completely tolerable tone before transitioning to something that would make anyone want to stab their ear drums with a mechanical pencil. paletteswap.site/dif...

I really like games that let you “clean up the post-apocalypse” like Fallout 4’s settlement building or even just turning on safe spots in Dying Light.

One of the cool aspects of the original Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde story that was lost through adaptations was that there is no Mr Hyde. The formula simply changes Dr Jeckyll’s appearance. Under that guise he lets loose his malice and baser instincts.

If the EDM remix replaces the song bit everyone likes with a drop or random BS, omitting the words, it’s a bad remix. A good remix emphasizes and plays with the bits everyone remembers.

>try to save image on phone >”oh should I highlight the text in the image?” >try again, nope, try again… These programmers need to be stopped.

Is there a list somewhere of how wide or narrow the parry window is in a bunch of different games is? Like Sekiro, Nine Sols, DMC3, Dark Souls, Lies of P etc.

The Sledge Hammer in the Finals is so awkward to use now. I think I might be done with the game. Worst melee rework. It feels like they asked a gun user to rework melee. It feels horrible to use.

I think if you needed any more evidence that the cuts are shortsighted and focused on cutting as deep and as fast as possible with little regard for the future, this is pretty definitive. That engine felt like magic in some spots. A colossal waste of talent and resources.

THIS STUDIO MADE THE FAMOUS IDTECH ENGINE AND YOU'RE FORCING THEM TO USE FUCKING **UNREAL**??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? FUCK YOU
