Our National Parks are our “crown jewels.” Just one expert was plugging abandoned mines that leak methane and oil into these lands — until this administration let him go. Their reckless cuts endanger Americans and create a new public health crisis.

Hard to take seriously the red-white-and-blue rhetoric of freedom on a 4th of July where the US president has cut off aid to a democracy fighting for its independence against ferocious attack by a foreign tyrant.

Don't let them distract you. Republicans are trying to sell off millions of acres of your public lands to billionaire developers — all as they take away your benefits. Now is the time to make some noise.

It is incredibly dangerous to deploy hundreds of Marines — who are trained in lethal combat, not law enforcement — against American protesters. Absolutely nothing good will come from this.

Weingarten: We didn't vote for Elon Musk to call Social Security a Ponzi scheme. We didn’t vote for Howard Lutnick to say, oh don't worry, no elderly people, including my mother, would care if they don’t get their checks from Social Security.

Let’s face it, Schumer has been terrible even before this. It is time for new leadership. He isn’t the person for this moment in history, and the longer he clings to power the worse off we all are.

This unpredictable nature of trade policy, waffling in messaging within hours is a prime reason I'm staying out of the markets. They have no discipline in messaging at best or they're incompetently following the impulses of a 34-time convicted felon who's filed for bankruptcy 6 times in the past.

The U.S. may pull back on some tariffs against Canada and Mexico later today in a limited fashion, Commerce secretary Howard Lutnick said.
