Stripped of the powers of creation we yet wield influence in our domain; emotion, connection, congruence. There beyond the bounds of the Mind and Body lie ev’r expanding wiles of the Soul. A spark so easily wafted into the heavens by sea, sky, and soil. Guiding beyond logic and beyond reason.

ive been increasingly wary of people using trauma as an excuse to hurt others. we are all some unique flavor of broken or wounded. Trauma is an objectively valid explanation for cruelty for sure, trauma is deeply informative to the psyche by definition. but it is not an excuse to do harm.

there are people without the resources to be self aware and those people deserve a chance to learn and grow. but there are some who are self aware, have access to community and guidance, yet still refuse to carry the burden of healing simply because it hurts to heal. That is no excuse to do harm.

i want to be a dusty weevil merchant in the galactic bazaar, tapping exotic polyrhythms on a hip-fastened drumhead with 2 of my legs while the other 4 trade and barter fluorescent powders from tough canvas satchels. do they make a pill for that

Erin Fogg says Free Link@criminalerin.bsky.social

"Fact: [Cops] never should have came to my house in the first place. Fact: If they hadn't have came to my house, they wouldn't have put themselves on the video camera and in my music career. All of this is their fault, and they have the audacity to sue me. These people, and you, are the predators"

with the voice of a cannon she blasted black culture to the forefront of the american pop scene, wrenching the reins from (mostly) well meaning but misguided white folk while reestablishing Black America's claim to legacy, pride, and power within the western milieu. her influence is truly staggering

i need more life experiences. i think im quite naiive as I struggle to be perceived as sincere despite being passionately so in my intent. I really enjoy learning about people but i worry that my attempts to do so come off as interview-y or idk, fake as fuck lol

it might just be that im an exhausting person because im poor at banter, in which case i simply need to level up my social. people may be too exhausted to want to reciprocate learning each other, i get that. maybe i need to offer more than just myself, despite only wanting that from others
