Your design is the prompt Bring your existing ideas to life with Figma Make #Config2025

my dad literally wrote SQL for a living at the federal government

not a new observation but Elon Musk genuinely isn't very bright, genuinely has no idea how most things work, and his entire supergenius engineer persona is a tech press-enabled mythology (they've never been held accountable for)

Just in, diagramming improvements for FigJam → New shapes sidebar → More shapes for developers → Stroke color independent of fill color for shapes and sections → Moveable connector labels → Recents section for recently used shapes

This was so cool to receive!!

If you find this set puzzling… that’s because it is. 🧩 When Figma needed a year-end gift for their team, a puzzle box made from their logo turned out as sweet as pineapple on pizza. 🍍🍕

Always appreciate that Vitalik is clear-headed and principled, even knowing how vociferously he’ll be attacked in many quarters for it. This is a meaningful thing for this person with this voice to say at this time.

In all seriousness: the last 2 weeks of TikTok posturing and Zuck grovelling, combined with the X insanity of the last year, should show you that an app with a feed that you don’t control serves *other people’s interests* - not yours.

Without David Lynch, the world of cinema, TV, art and entertainment as a whole would look a whole lot different. The beautiful, anxiety-inducing pieces of chaos you've created will always remain beacons of daring creativity for all filmmakers to come. #RIPDavidLynch

Given how many emails I get asking to purchase Figma’s Chrome extension to stuff it with spyware… I am now incredibly weary of all Chrome extensions. If it’s not a vendor you ABSOLUTELY trust, make sure it’s open source, and build it yourself.

Insight from VSCode—Llama (by Meta) is designed to fracture! That's why it's source available. While it's a net benefit, it's not the goodness of their hearts—OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic could be The Next Platform. FB desperately doesn't want a new landlord. Ref: ghuntley.com/fracture/
