You can call Democrats "evil," "demonic," "Marxists," and "Communists." You can say cities are "dirty, crime-ridden, hell-holes." And your can say as much racist shit as want about Somalians, Haitians and Mexicans. But bad-mouthing the Cheesecake Factory is a bridge to far for since people.

My view on Elon's new "flying car" - It's an objectively cool stunt. Like, I'd clap my ass off to see this at a Monster Truck show, or stunt show or something like that. It's also an objectively stupid feature on a car that is for sale. No one needs that, and it's likely to kill people.

Company replaced most hardware phones with a webapp-based phone-system. Works OK most of the time. Hardware phones have 1 big advantage over this system - the buttons used to place calls don't magically disappear without warning.

Yeah, so having a sexy-voiced "personal assistant" for your voicemail message may seem like a cute thing to do, but it's really annoying. Especially when it does the thing where it whispers "Beep . . . I can't believe you fell for it." Just ugh.

Fucking company-wide IT updates that fuck up your computer and make it so you can't access the services you've been using for years. Last week they "retired" Chrome and left us only able to use Edge. Now, I've lost access to Teams and all the shared documents we use.

I have to stop buying comic book art at auction. But I now own an original page of Mike Mignola art from the very first (non-monthly) comic I recall purchasing: 1990's "Wolverine Annual 1" AKA "Wolverine: The Jungle Adventure." So stoked.

Lt. Kaffee: "Did you order the Code Red?" Col. Jessep: "I'm sorry?" Lt. Kaffee: "The Code Red!! Did you order it?" Col. Jessep: ". . .I . . .Um" Lt. Kaffee: "I have text messages from you staff saying you ordered the Code Red."

Col. Jessep: "Yeah, not ringing a bell." Col. Jessep: "So, back on that Code Red thing. The day of those messages, it was the birthday party for one of the guys. We got Nothing Bundt Cakes for the office. I ordered the Red Velvet Cake." Lt. Kaffee: "You're still a dirtbag!"

I don't know what AI features were implemented at DCA this week, but lights are out on one of the runways, and my parents may be stuck in Atlanta instead of landing here tonight. They were supposed to land at DCA at 7:35 PM and just de-planed in ATL at 8::34 PM.

Well, I guess that people are getting letters stating that their Medicare coverage is ending because of immigration status. I've worked with 2 clients today that received letters because they have asylum or TPS status. These absolute assholes.

The absolute shit-storm this would cause if it had been, I don't know, Ben & Jerry's stating they would not sell their ice cream in "Red States."

I probably should have known this, but I just learned that Dolly was a silent producer on Buffy the Vampire Slayer (movie, show and not picked up re-boot), and Angel. How did I not know this?

Not sure if it was the first purchase, but the first I remember is pre-ordering the hardcover of the Star Wars Episode I novelization. It was either from Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Maybe even Borders.

Date yourself with your first online purchase. It’s been so long I can barely remember but it was one of the following: - Case of Bawls soda and a tshirt from ThinkGeek - Book from that new cheap book website, Amazon - Plane tickets from a novel idea where you picked your price on Priceline

Oh! I almost forgot there was the kid who got his fingers cut off by a band saw in Shop class. Two other guys were horsing around and one of them bumped into this poor kid who was just trying to cut some wood. I know it was definitely 2 fingers, maybe 3.

First pieces came out of the annealers this morning. This was my attempt to make Captain America's shield. Used a paper bowl, the bottom of a metal water bottle and a foam glitter star. Getting the color powders in the right places is a skill in and off itself.
