Metro DC DSA is excited to endorse Briana Urbina in the special election for New Carrollton mayor. Councilmember Urbina has been a staunch defender of a ceasefire in Gaza, collective bargaining rights for municipal workers, and she will continue to fight for all New Carrolltonians as mayor.

We stand with Representative Omar in the face of this political persecution and will be joining DCAARPR and other organizations this Saturday (2pm, 950 Penn Ave NW) to demand an end to these attacks on our community members.

With a political discussion forum on Sunday, an endorsement request for a special election in New Carrollton, and multiple ways to plug into the chapter's fight against the occupation, it's never been easier to get involved in the fight for a better world: mdcdsa.org/chapterupdate/26-09-25/

NEW: CWA union members have inflated a giant rat and deployed a wall of red flags representing laid off Xbox workers outside the Bethesda office in Rockville. The protest was timed to coincide with a visit from Xbox CEO Asha Sharma, who is apparently at the studio today.
