The President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, called for regime change in a democracy that is being invaded by a dictator while standing on the White House lawn, in front of cameras, with absolutely no hesitation or shame.

It's interesting to me how two 80 year old people are so vastly different in their value to humanity. Trump, born into wealth, uses his life to enrich himslef at everyone else's expense, and to this day destroys everything around him with no regard.

Dolly Parton, born into complete poverty, built a life, didn't have it handed to her, then use her self-made wealth and fame to enrich the lives of everyone she knew ... and millions she did not know.

Not enough people are talking about this. Hungary’s incoming PM has said that Viktor Orbán used Hungarian government funds to help finance CPAC, the flagship networking event for GOP candidates, members of Congress, and conservative media in this country.

Could we do a Truman Show situation where we build a fake Oval Office where he watches AI created fake news about himself and let him believe he's still president and tweet the hours away and meanwhile we can impeach him and move on...I'm not sure he'd know the difference

As the crisis of our democracy deepens, staying on the sidelines and pretending that “others” can fix it will become less viable. It is not enough to change our institutions or leave things to politicians; the renewal of values and behaviors that we need must come from us - from we, the people.

53 years ago today, the last U.S. combat troops left South Vietnam, ending America’s direct role in the Vietnam War. I remember seeing this anti-war PSA back then. Its message is sadly still very relevant today as Trump drags us into another unpopular war.

Trump said he sent ICE to airports to go after Somalis and other nonwhite people. Some of his allies explained it's because ICE in airports will upset Democrats. Video shows ICE standing around, harassing, or arresting people. Why is anyone covering it as ICE helping speed up TSA security checks?

My government is at war, and I can't trust a single word it says about anything. Not because of politics or ideology but because every single statement coming out of this White House about this war is immediately debunked by the key international actors it claims to cite.

A year ago we were supposed to be getting $2,000 rebate checks, DOGE was going to find $2 trillion in waste to balance the budget, we were going to pay no income taxes because tariffs would pay for everything, gas and home electric bills would be cut in half, and no new wars.
