A Monday mood

Tried out a new look at yesterday's music festival! Still working on the wig and make-up since I'm not quite happy with them yet, but we're getting there!

Update: apparently they can't amend the budget as it stands, but a floor amendment can still be made during the vote to retain the office. Call your reps!! And thank you to all 53 of you who have signed so far, seriously!!

So NC is finally getting ready to vote on a budget, but they're completely gutting the Office of Environmental Education. This is completely unacceptable! If you live in NC, please consider signing this. And if you don't, please share it. The vote is happening this week. resist.bot/petitions/PK...

Stay safe out there in the water, friends! Never swim alone, look out for each other, and learn to recognize the signs of drowning.

If you don’t have 2FA active on Bluesky, turn it on NOW. There’s an ongoing attack taking over accounts and spamming with links, which seems to add an “app password” for access externally. Already had one friend’s account compromised and I’m seeing others.

Ohhhhh someone got a fresh new PFP 👀

People still leave comments on my Courtney Mermaid YouTube channel and it seems like no matter how many posts I make I can't get through to the people who still want to see my content. I'm not on Courtney Mermaid anymore, I'm now here: www.youtube.com/@VancouverMe...

💕🦭 Happy International Seal Day! 🦭💕 Here's a sneak peak at my selkie tail in progress! It's being made by Mermaid's Tail UK.
