I backed this project! Rachael’s webcomic is an ongoing delight and I’m thrilled that I get to help support a great artist. ❤️

Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! The Kickstarter campaign for NAP COMIX: FIRST STEPS, the newest volume collecting the Nap Comix webcomics in beautiful paperback book form, IS HERE! tinyurl.com/firststepsbook I'm so excited!

Gang, I cannot stress how excited I am for you to hear Midnight Radio. It's been a weird, punk rock, self-funded, dream project. Season 1 is just insane, with a crazy cast I can't believe I got to work with. You've never heard anything quite like it. Episodes drop beginning Oct 22nd!

“The Gentlemen” (Netflix version) is pretty predictably Guy Ritchie at his most condensed—hot, half-corrupt heroes, fast action, onscreen explainers, class disparity good humor, repeat. But im glad I hung in there, bc S 2 episode 7 has a sequence that knocked my bespoke socks of.

As with so many testosterone-driven male directors, Guy Ritchie writes for men. His female characters never get the screen time or focus they deserve…but I do have to give him credit: every one of these women feels like they might be simultaneously starring in their own adventures just offscreen.

I can’t wait to buy this and have it immediately stolen away from me by my anxious 13-year-old ! ❤️😁

⭐️NEW BOOK ANNOUNCEMENT! ⭐️ I'm debuting my first book as a solo author with Scholastic Graphix ! My own struggle with social anxiety was the inspiration for this book, and I hope others can relate to it too! Thank you to my agent Mark for his support and to my editors for taking me on again!

Listen. Girls. Ladies. My spawn sisters. Femáles. Queens. Empresses. Listen. Vampires are for middle-aged women fantasies, not teen fantasies. Which one of us gets hot flashes so intense we will kick a warm human male body directly through a window if necessary? Exactly.

Because I went to film school and eventually became a film professor, I have great insight into my own secret desires. It’s tunnels. Secret tunnels. I freaking love a secret tunnel. There’s not a single movie that wouldn’t be improved by adding secret tunnels

It's not enough to give the audience what they say they want, you have to give them what they secretly want. But they can't tell you what that is. It's a secret even from themselves

Any word yet on whether we’ll be allowed to film the Criterion Closet videos we may or may not have already rehearsed? I’m speaking generally, for all of us, about a thing we definitely all do.

Will McKinley@willmckinley.bsky.social

Criterion is establishing a brick-and-mortar storefront in Toronto. In partnership w/ home video retailer Cinema Cellar, the shop will open in Sept during TIFF but will be permanent. "We hope people find films they love here and find each other." exclaim.ca/film/article... #FilmSky #PhysicalMedia

I have zero interest in playing an rpg, ever. To me it’s being asked to do my job for free…only with the input of a bunch of people who want different things. An actual nightmare. Meanwhile, my husband is a pro DM and I’ve personally seen the enjoyment and connection others get from playing.
