"Overall, Mixtape is probably worth it if you enjoy games that focus more on narratives than gameplay, and if you have $20 kicking around." - @gordon.jagreview.com Read the full review here: jagreview.com/2026/10/27/r...
Big thanks to @bimbo.city for gifting me this all the way back for last Christmas and calling it "the bet game of 2025" (yes you spelled it wrong, I still have the email). I still can't say for certain if it's the bet, but it's certainly one of the best.
"Öoo is an excellent puzzle game, one that takes full advantage of its limited game mechanics and respects the player's intelligence with each one it aims to teach." - @michael.jagreview.com Read the full reviöoo here: jagreview.com/2026/10/13/r...
Surprise, I'm not dead, just caught up with life and a new hobby (and possibly crippled by undiagnosed ADHD). Big thanks to @leik.games for the game code, and a huge apology for taking so long to actually review it due to a two-week vacation followed by another week of exhaustion and illness, lmao.

"RE9 is an easy enough recommendation for the Grace sections alone, but it’s a shame those parts are somewhat bogged down by some of Resident Evil’s worst habits." - @gordon.jagreview.com Read the full review for Resident Evil Requiem here: jagreview.com/2026/04/20/r...

I was recently given a copy of Wednesdays, a visual novel about healing from child sexual abuse. In honor of World Children's Day, the game has been made free to keep if you grab it before November 21. If you'd like to know more before picking it up, you can read my review at the quoted post below.
"It delivers a story that’s as heartbreaking as it is uplifting, and it does so in a way that I don’t think you could replicate with the same impact in any other medium." - @michael.jagreview.com Read the full review for Wednesdays here: jagreview.com/2025/11/19/r...
Additional links and a message from the lead developer (who so graciously gave me my copy of the game) can be found here: bsky.app/profile/wedn...

I crawled out of my hole to play Battlefield 6. I should have stayed in the hole. It sucks. It's worse than living in the hole. It made me miss the dark, cold hole. Don't play it. It is bad. I wrote a review of it for @jagreview.com. You can read the full review here: jagreview.com/2025/11/14/r...

I put off playing this game for way too long, but it ended up being the perfect way to spend a not-so-scary Halloween night (yes I know I'm posting this in like mid-November, I'm slow, don't judge me).
"Minor complaints aside, My Friendly Neighborhood was just about everything I could’ve asked for when I set out to play a beginner-friendly survival horror game." - @michael.jagreview.com Read the full review here: jagreview.com/2025/11/09/r...

A plea for help. 🙏 One of the lead playtesters of Blue Prince, Iggy, has polycystic kidney disease and has only a few months to find a living kidney donor. His story, contact and donor information can all be found on iggyland.org Please help us in sharing his story and getting the word out.💙
I just beat My Friendly Neighborhood a few days ago and wanted to mess around with some of the cheats I'd unlocked during my run. Turns out starting a new game with cheats doesn't disable achievements, and accidentally triggering the ending unlocked three achievements in the funniest order possible.
Okay so life got in the way and I was VERY late to finishing this write-up, but it's here now. This was at the top of my most anticipated games list ever since I played one of its old demos a few years back, and I'm so glad I finally got to experience the full thing.

"I don't think that this is a game I'll dump a hundred hours into or anything, but it got me to engage with a genre that I normally don't enjoy playing, and that's got to be worth something." - @michael.jagreview.com Read the full review of Hot Pot Game here: jagreview.com/2025/09/03/r...

Help me I'm obsessing over the contents of a Mabinogi teaser site like it's 2008 all over again
I know I'm not going to put a few thousand hours into this like I did the original game, but I'm still really excited to see how they reimagine it. Fingers crossed that the F2P/gacha aspects aren't too egregious, but it's Nexon and a mobile game, so...

Bilkins' was by far my #1 game of 2023, and is probably one of my favorite puzzle games in general. Clever, charming, criminally underrated, and an absolute steal at this price.
Bilkins' Folly is currently 65% off! (I think it's a good deal 😆) #indiegames #puzzles store.steampowered.com/app/1526370/...

Sometimes the pursuit of completing games requires me to do terrible, terrible things (this dialogue option was tied to an achievement because @miscatinytale.bsky.social is EVIL). You'd best believe I reloaded my save file so he could go right back to happy dancing. (Source: Misc. A Tiny Tale)

Okay, Strange Jigsaws is released. Have fun! store.steampowered.com/app/2702170/...
Huge thanks to @flebpuzzles.bsky.social for the early review copy. My only "complaint" with his last game 20 Small Mazes (which you should also play, it's free) was that I wished I had more puzzles with that same level of creativity, and playing through Strange Jigsaws finally scratched that itch.
"It's a labor of love from someone with a deep appreciation for puzzles of all kinds, and you'll feel that same appreciation with every new puzzle you solve." - @michael.jagreview.com Read the full review for Strange Jigsaws here: jagreview.com/2025/08/07/s...
