Please note this is a preprint - given the amount of requests for this screening tool I have received we decided it was important to put up as a pre-print. Things may change in peer review. This paper is currently under peer review!

We are currently looking for adults with DLD to take part in an interview study looking at your experiences going to the GP or going to see a nurse in your GP practice. #DevLangDis If you are interested, please start by filling in this short survey: uniofbath.questionpro.eu/t/AB3vC3yZB3...

Young offenders 'with DLD were more likely to have their behaviour interpreted as non-compliance.' Which of course has serious implications for them! This is why we need far greater awareness of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) #DevLangDis

They took longer to learn the general rule they were disliked, meaning they paid more attention than adolescents without #DevLangDis to the 20% correct positive words in this condition. This difference was found in both the "self" and "other" condition.

So we found no general social evaluative learning deficit. But adolescents with #DevLangDis struggled to learn they were disliked. For each trial a positive and negative word were shown. In the dislike condition, 80% of negative words were "correct" and only 20% of the positive words were "correct".

πŸ“£ New paper alert! (Not my paper btw…) #DevLangDis
