On my way back to the US from Australia. Brisbane was a great home base for the last month, Bundaberg has that charm (and Rum). Gearing up for my LAX flight in a few hours. Long day.

So, If Trump finds fraud in Georgia and won, and by this (other things) won the 2020 election, would that make his current term illegal under the 22nd Amendment. I guess it comes down if an elected president actually serves the term? Besides posturing or "I told you so" moment, what is to be gained

Let me throw out this question...why are are trying to extend life expectancy? The dichotomy is that we want to live as long as possible and if you are religious, you want to meet your maker, so which is it. As we are living longer, the strain on society is greater, especially our families.

To bring some calm to the hectic nature of our lives, I listened to Obama's elegy for John McCain. Some should take a moment to look at both these men at the way how we should treat all people fairly regardless of your political leaning. It seems the days of bein civil are gone. We need to learn.

My parents (in their late 70s) have told me and my family to stop what we are doing and head back to Australia. It's a sad state of affairs when the boomer generation from another country are telling you to "get the fuck out!"

Definition of Tyranny In simple terms, tyranny is when a ruler or small group has absolute power and uses it in a cruel, harsh, and unjust way, often by suppressing the rights and freedoms of others.

The Second Amendment was created to protect the right to keep and bear arms for both a well-regulated militia and for individual self-defense against tyranny, foreign invasion, and criminals.

OK, writing this through gritted teeth. 1. Senate Dems vote for the CR to open Govt. Yes I know the consequences. Dems need to outlay their decisions. 2. House is forced to go into session. Get AG(AZ) sworn in. 3. Push for Epstein Files. 4. Let Republicans own the fallout 5. Hit rock bottom. Sorry!

Yes, this is what a normal person would say, but as others have pointed out, this is an example of a politician who is being affected but her owns party's politics. Her constituents are upset and she is mitigating the damage to her political future. So, I'll take it, but I won't believe it.

What she’s saying here is … normal. 😲

Even though I did not agree with Charlie Kirk and his ideology, his death is abhorrent and not aligned to the values of this country. It is beyond a shame that this is what we have come to. There is nothing I can say to comfort his family, thoughts and prayers will not bring him back.

Why is it that social media is the new platform to announce official government information. Remember, it is still the platform of 12 year olds, internet influences and those garnishing attention. Our government should disperse all information through official channels, to no confuse the 12 yos.

Am I mistaken, or was there a picture with a podium with the Presidential Seal on it? How is that on his "personal" time?

Yes, I’m sure all those top buyers of his meme coin are there because he’s just a great person, not the President.

As an Australian, the reason Australia does not import beef, is because it is usually the second largest global beef exporter, only to Brazil. The Australian Govt didn't impose any retaliatory tariffs on the US, because the things that are imported from the US are not made in Australia.

I would ask that each member of Congress, who sits on a committee, not only be present at each and every hearing, but actually stay for the entire hearing. Witnesses who appear before Congress to testify, should be heard by each and every member. Also, witnesses should be given time to answer.

Quite frankly, why are our top administrators and the Administration using Social Media at all to dispense official National information? When did this become a thing?

Cross: This is a thing that people use to talk to their side pieces. Something Pete Hegseth would know about

I would like to say to all congress men and women; if you are part of a committee and a hearing is being held, do your job and be there. I see way too many hearings where half of the members are not there. All of you, Republican, Democrat and Independent, DO YOUR JOB!

In a few years, when the dust settles, the only thing left in our society, will be a class war of the haves and have nots. Either imposed by those in power, or implicitly conducted via our own actions of survival. With kids heading to college, I wonder what world are we leaving them.

More of this please.

Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is doing a national town hall tour. On Saturday he stopped in Omaha, Nebraska, where the crowd was thrilled to welcome him. Gov. Walz was happy and excited to meet with voters, but noted Republican U.S. Rep. Don Bacon’s failure to face his…

High profile democrats should team up with local dem reps as do town halls with voters (Dem and Rep) from their respective districts. Shows support with in the dem party and allows the voter to have their voices heard. Could it go south, sure, but at least the dem party would be out there.
