MicrocosmsFic

An evergreen Black Friday/Holiday shopping tip 😉

It really warms my heart to see how active the writing community has become on here in my absence. It feels like home again.

Just getting started on Bluesky? Then you need to know about starter packs! These are collections of people you can follow all at once to quickly build your new #writingcommunity 🦋🧵 For example, here's one for people who participate in the daily #vss365 prompt: bsky.app/starter-pack...

We have tentative plans to restart for New Year's. We'll provide more details as it gets closer. We'd love for you to join us!

I haven't been on here in a long time. What are good lists to follow to find short fiction writers or just writers in general? #flashfiction #shortfiction

Guess who's back, back again? MC's back - tell a friend (tag your bestie)! MC 216 is ready and waiting. (Thank you for your patience.) Can't wait to see what y'all come up with for these prompts. Enter here: microcosmsfic.com/2023/11/12/m...  #flash

MC 214 Winners HMs for Vicky Hinault and Laura Cooney Community Pick: Laura Cooney Judge's Pick: Steve Lodge Congrats all! Read the winning entries here: microcosmsfic.com/2023/11/11/r...

Back when X was twitter, me and the marvellous @chrismould.bsky.social had a no-pressure, everyone-welcome sketchbook club called #doodleish We’re new here, but is anyone up for it? We share fun prompts twice a week (no skill needed!) #sketchbook #artchallenge #illustration

It’s time for you guys ‘n’ gals to get writing your @microcosmsfic.bsky.social story for this week. A fab couple of prompt options I reckon (or spin if these somehow don’t float your boat). Be creative: Get writing. ✍️

Well done everyone!!

Get to it!!! That's an order!

Why not give this a try? It's free. There's a great community and brilliant odds of winning the prize! It's a great wat to sharpen your writing knives! I write for it, occasionally judge it, and can highly recommend it.

Okay, to help everyone make their BlueSky what they want it to be, here's a thread about feeds. What they are, how to find them, how to add them, how to pin them, what feeds to follow if you're a #writer, and how you can make your own 🥸 1/16

Thank you! Well done @lozzawriting.bsky.social for community pic! And @zevonesque.bsky.social for your win and thank you @vickyh.bsky.social for judging!
