My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

I think they will try to lock that information down, just like the government did with the JFK files. The investigative records from the Warren Commission and the House Select Committee on Assassinations were initially classified and slated to remain closed for 50 to 75 years.

This may be the most consequential midterm election of our lifetime: A "blue wave" is possible, but only if a lot of people like YOU show up at the polls and vote as if your country, your future, your health care, and our life depends on it. Because it does.
