Radar Festival dropping its lineup including a world first score of Doom (2016) by Mick Gordon is incredible. Big fan.

DIGGER is a movie that I've now sat on for a day and I feel like it could either be five or one star quite easily; no middle ground. Dooo think it's a bit too in-your-face about that it wants to be a Cassavetes (OPENING NIGHT) but. It's good? I think it's good.

i am a corpse and kingston is kingston but i am this close to caving for fat dog this evening. early show. record launch! hey ho. let's go.

last 10 bands i've seen live Mary in the Junkyard Lynks Gurriers Maruja Opus Kink Wax Head Sprints Crows Bathing Suits Spiritbox

This post is unavailable.

back in london i've got lynks at the george tavern and mary in the junkyard at heaven this week; love early nightclub gig finishes. especially excited about lynks as lifeloose are supporting; and the george can always be fun.

Gurriers were so much fun in Liverpool last night. proper punk band; the new songs they've added work wonders and it's a real treat - so much energy from Dan Hoff it's impossible not to dance to. Only problem is tall people not moving at the front, but it's a Gurriers show - there'll be a mosh.

finished Cameron Crowe's autobigoraphy this morning. Very Crowe. Earnest. Honest. Embarrassing. Uncool. And because of this; it becomes the coolest thing in the world.

new The Sick Man Of Europe, Adult DVD, Julia Jacklin, Gilla Band, Blondshell, Keo, Gurriers, Protomartyr, M83 and Tom Morello out tomorrow my word

Maruja & Sprints (with Wax Head, Bathing Suits, Opus Kink, Crows) just held one of the most memorable punk shows you’ll ever see, championing community & a free Palestine with morals arena artists could never have. Ed Sheeran take notes: venues like the 100 club thrive because of their independence

Rewatched SPIRITED AWAY over the weekend at my partners' and it holds up so well. Third watch. Endlessly enjoyable. Charming. Does sag a bit in the middle but it's a really good watch. Heartfelt and a classic and though not my favourite Ghibli, it feels like it when you're watching it.

Why we weren't immediately casting Sheila Atim in everything following The Woman King, I do not know, but she is going to devour Queen of the Damned.

it's not an exaggeration to say that jk rowling is the world's most powerful and prominent transphobe outside of elon musk it's easy to not buy a tesla and it's easy to not watch the harry potter tv show

As a new Harry Potter trailer makes the rounds, it bears repeating that there’s no way to watch this show without supporting J.K. Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she’s inflicting on the trans community.

ohh noooo

“The wand chooses the wizard.” 🪄 And in this case, it chose Oxford Street. Congratulations to Warner Bros on the UK’s largest Harry Potter shop. Another brilliant new destination for the West End, and proof that Oxford Street is well and truly on the up.

Paired WH with THEY WILL KILL YOU. Pure Sam Raimi esque camp fun; doesn't take itself seriously and avoids the trap just about of being too similar to READY OR NOT - and dare I say it, more fun? peak 90s nonsense that we don't have anywhere near as much of anymore

finally saw the new WUTHERING HEIGHTS - it's a book about race and class and bluntly Emerald Fennell doesn't understand either. Charli XCX has never been this uncool. Both leads hopelessly miscast. Not a patch on Andrea Arnold's version.
