We heard at @zeteo.com that LMO placed Trump's propaganda ads. When we heard LMD was contracted, I thought it was too coincidental. My bad! LMO told us: "We are not at liberty to discuss the details of specific client engagements or contractual matters." www.nytimes.com/2026/10/02/u...

Folks are clearly using this stuff as part of pipelines (I happen to think that’s legally and fiscally imprudent) but these ‘I made a whole finished thing from this single prompt’ posts are earth shattering bullshit

It's ready to tag in Libby too. Let's get those library orders going!

Hey, friends! I'm so excited to announce the title and release date for the sequel to I WAS A TEENAGE DEATH GOD, in stores April 6th, 2027 and available for preorder now! 👻 Links & details here: mjbeasi.com/my-hot-death...

I loved exploring more about Charlie & Sam's abilities, the inner workings of the DaRosa family, Ravi's theatrical hopes & dreams, & Charlie's tenuous relationship to the physical world. This book ended up being more personal than I imagined when I started, & I can't wait to share it with you all. 💜

Oh, hi, here’s a funny story about how yesterday morning on stream, I spent, like, fifteen minutes trying to remember a particular Annie Dillard quote, and I was so frustrated that I couldn’t put together the exact words. If only I’d just… swiveled my chair slightly to the left. 😅😭🙃💀

View full thread

Though she & I had such different childhoods in most ways, this quote & everything about the way she wrote herself as a child was my first experience reading something & feeling that it could have been written in my own childhood mind. I felt understood in some way I hadn't ever imagined I could be.

Oh my goodness... this happened and I posted about it, all without having heard that she died two days ago. She is one of the reasons I ever became a writer. Despite how different our work is in nearly every way, her books were a huge influence on me and my voice as an author. I'm devastated. 💔

Hey, friends! I recently contributed backing vocals and audio mixing to this cosplay music video for the Reverse: 1999 fandom! What’s especially cool, is the collaboration continues on! Check out the video for links to downloadable audio files & lyrics sheets to join in the lip-sync fun yourself! 🎉

What you need to understand is when workers want financial security, that’s entitlement. When bosses want financial security, that’s a god given right. If you think there’s hypocrisy there, then buddy, you just don’t get business, and its inevitable natural laws.

Libraries are great for authors! Libraries pay more for our books, high circulation wears them out so they have to buy them again—AND they’re more likely to buy our next book. Plus, publishers consider library sales when weighing our future contracts. Please check our books out from the library! 📚💜

Someone said to me, "I'm sorry but I got your book from a library." Nobody should ever apologise for that. You read my book! That's brilliant! I grew up hanging out in libraries and the idea of a world without them fills me with dread. Without libraries, authors, like readers, will only suffer.

I think I have successfully shrunk a t-shirt just about the right amount I wanted to, and as a person who struggles to succeed at most domestic tasks, I feel unreasonably proud. 🎉🎂🍾

One irony of being a YA author is most interactions we have about our books end up being with adults. I wasn't prepared for how inspiring & HEALING it would feel to talk about I WAS A TEENAGE DEATH GOD with the teens I actually wrote it for. 💜 Thalia Kids Book Club Camp, it was my honor to meet you.

In 2019, I wrote a book about what growing up nonbinary before I knew what "nonbinary" was felt like to me. On the surface, it was a fast-paced, snarky supernatural adventure, but the real story was about feeling like you’re an aberration that shouldn’t exist & learning to care for yourself anyway.🧵

Its road to publication was long & painful, much like my journey to that understanding I suppose, & though I've since written more mature work, no MC will probably ever be as personal to me as Charlie, whose flaws & idiosyncrasies are so much mine. They're an AuDHD nonbinary disaster in my own mold.

I WAS A TEENAGE DEATH GOD is available now (w/a sequel due out next April!) & as Pride month nears its end, consider picking it up from your favorite bookstore or local library. This is an element that most people who weren't the direct target of this coverage don't understand is that we've now had a decade of the largest paper of record in the US "just asking questions" about the validity of a class of a people. How can that lead to anything other than discrimination?

A thing about JD Vance Is that extremism researchers can tell he hangs out in Nazi forums because he repeats popular Nazi talking points from those forums pretty much verbatim. Like Jesus he doesn't even dress it up or change it around to sound original he's just a channer

Snitty 🎃@clofsnitville.bsky.social

And that's Vance in a nutshell: even his racism and misogyny are utterly unoriginal. He's a person who wholly lacks curiosity about the world he lives in. He's clearly made no effort to gain a better understanding of public policy during his time in the Senate and as VPOTUS.

Organisations which also want to remain trans-inclusive need to receive support on how to do so within the law. In a similar way, those that wish to exclude trans men and women from their spaces also need to know how to do so without breaching individual rights to privacy. (6/7)
