I have the urge to write my own "a boy-wizard who goes to magic boarding school" story. Only, what if it wasn't a nice school? What if it were the magic equivalent of an underfunded, American public school?

As is predictable, that creepy bigot just showed up here to harass people, and we can ABSOLUTELY blame file 770 for platforming him in the first place.

There is a direct line between platforming this person over there and a pulse of trolls stalking people over here. Point A often leads to point B. An invitation to cause harm was sent out by platforming. People don't get this?

More DV advice: Being "the victim" is a common tactic to soothe an emotional injury when people feel out of control in a situation. An attempt to illicit sympathy by self-pitty is not appropriate behavior. It's a way of avoiding personal responsibility by making a show of how unfair it all is.

One of the things with indulging one-on-one conversation is that people want to relitigate things with me a judge already ruled on and against them. If a judge made a ruling, end of story. No debate. Conversation over. It becomes an argument about what is reality at that point.

I'm just using this conversation as a teaching moment in my advocacy work at this point. On a side: he has no obligation to present anything to me, because I'm just a chick he talked to 10 years ago at a convention. But, he's offering. He doesn't have to. Who cares what I think?

I'm trained to never talk to an accused abuser alone. A secondary victim's advocate, a lawyer, on video call, video on, recorded. Rule DV victims: never speak to an accused person in isolation. It is too common of a manipulation tactic. Engage with evidence with a legal witness.

As a victims advocate, I know how to read court cases and legal documents. I'm not easily swayed in the face of court documents. At shelters, I've heard every justification there is for hurting a partner, or claiming they didn't in the face of evidence. What can you offer me they couldn't ?

I await evidence, in public. Not with me isolated alone on a phone or in discord. I am EXTREMELY experienced with dealing with these types of issues, both in the law and in harm reduction. All evidence is only produced in public. Or not at all. FYI: never discuss these topics without witnesses!

To point out, as someone who has been charged with a crime when a grocery store I worked at had an alcohol sales sting, I get shit luck with the law. But, beating women, my judgement grows where I'd normally have grace.

I just found out that you can read where in the USA your milk came from via a "plant code". There is no legal definition of "grass fed". So your 52oz carton of $8 grass fed dairy comes from the same cows as your Great Value brand $2 gallon jug. Maybe don't spend extra money for prettier font.

The only real difference is between ultra pasteurized and standard pasteurized. Ultra can sit in your fridge longer. It kills the flavor and a lot of good enzymes. Depends on your needs.

I don't know how to tell men that I don't dress for them. I dress for women. A compliment from a man is flattering. A compliment from a woman inspires my undying devotion. I will gnash my teeth at an unfair heaven should she cry, and exalt the green Earth should she smile! Just not the same.

I need the truth from my UK friend: Is "cheese fries" with unmelted cheese really a thing? Do we need to goFundme toaster ovens for an entire sovereign nation?

Weird artist tip: If you have a favorite color that you buy lots of stuff in, don't paint your walls that color. Paint them that color's complimentary color. Then everything you love is an accent piece. I love terracotta/earthy Vermillion/salmon color's. So I paint stuff green or camel, always.

If you plan on making one of those Dolly Parton devotion candles, please use a picture you know Dolly would appreciate. She might be dead, but I'm still a girl's girl. We don't let people use bad photos to memorialize each other.

Econo-bros: if the youth wants a future they need to stop wasting money on avocado toast. Also eco-bros: Hey, Las Vegas is screwed. The younger generations don't gamble like their parents. The diamond market is crashing. Why can't we move $85000 cars? Stop destroying America, kids! Consume!

Not one of those terms referenced "weight". They are terms that describe a terminal illness. Let's talk about eating disorders and how they are a mental disorder, and have a 100% chance of death without intervention. 100%

All I know is that there are shows on TV where we watch people on c-paps, too big to walk, just to make fun. We are watching Ariana Grande die in front of us. Same; people laugh. Or, there is a fear to speak the devil's name: anorexia! Lymphedema! Terminal! Metabolic failure! Starvation! Binge!

I've struggled with eating disorders all my life. I've been anorexic. I've been obese. (Medical diagnosis. ) I've binged and purged, and self-isolate. I don't care if people don't like those terms. That's what I was! What I am! I'll refer to it as I please. I choose my language to define my body.

I'm not interested in watching people die in the public eye. It is sad. Not funny, not something to mind your business about. I don't care if I'm told I'm not body positive. Thin-phobic, fat-phobic. I don't care. I'm a survivor.

You don't tell cancers survivors that it is body positivity to not speak poorly of their terminal illness. Eat disorders are terminal without intervention. It is a mental disorder that will kill you, WITHOUT INTERVENTION. Shutting down discussions about eating disorders isn't woke!

At what point do we decide that people's lives are more important than social niceties. We watch people dying in front of us, and a portion of people do nothing but point and laugh, and another group looks the other way because they don't want to be accused of not being body positive.

Reminder: People used to not use real-estate agents to find homes. The job was created to be another gatekeeper to keep "certain" people out of certain neighborhoods. ๐Ÿ™ƒ With that said, in this day and age, you should probably work with an agent. They are hardwired in the system. But, still.
