Yo! I just marked my ballot using a Q-Tip, dabbed with some black Parker Quink. So easy. I turned the cap over and picked up a little ink from in there. Subsequently dipped into the bottle and blotted it out in the cap. Doesn't take a lot of ink!

What's all this I hear about the USA being incapable of REMOVING an insane and incompetent president? They're saying we need to fix things so this doesn't happen again. Well, Duh. The error was in nominating and electing a fool in the first place!

Awesome Visualization! On this map the four time zones have been superposed and each city representing a metropolitan agglomeration of 1.5 million people or more has been plotted according to its location in its own time zone. (From May 1979 Scientific American. ILLUSTRATOR Jerome Kuhl.)

Red line represents a standard meridian of time and the vertical lines to the left and right of it show how much (in minutes) the local mean time there differs from the time at the meridian. The boundaries at the left and right of the map represent the eastern and western extremes of the time zones.

Many people in the U.S. live in the western portions of the various time zones and are therefore most affected by late sunrises that often result from daylight-saving time.

"Trump-a-Palooza" (or Trumpapalooza) is the first-ever GOP midterm convention in Dallas, Texas, September 9–10. It's a fundraiser - GOP folks must pay $25,000 to attend. (Or is it only $20,000?) Such a Deal! Who wouldn't pay $25K to hear Trump blather on for an hour, or two hours if you're lucky??

My first job out of college was as a Park Ranger at the Lincoln Memorial. The Reflecting Pool fiasco is infuriating. While Americans struggle with higher costs amid war in Iran, Trump is fixated on a vanity project that enriched his friends on the American taxpayers’ dime.

Humans are gross. We could feed everyone, have non-polluting renewable energy everywhere, and live in a biome we weren’t poisoning on the regular. Why can’t we do that?
