The job of the AG is to enforce the law Todd Blanche fired a career pardon attorney for refusing to rubber stamp Trump's agenda & then sent US Marshals to her door If the Senate confirms Blanche, it won’t be confirming an AG, it will be confirming Trump’s personal attorney -TN

Former Pardon Attorney: 2 days after Mr. Blanche was confirmed as Deputy AG, he fired me from my position as a pardon attorney. I declined to rubber stamp a political favor for Trump's friend. Blanche sent US Marshals to my home in an effort to prevent me from speaking with members of Congress.

Epstein survivor Dani Bensky today in Senate hearing: "Todd Blanche spent approximately nine hours meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell, he did not even spend nine minutes meeting with a survivor…We need an AG committed to ensuring that everyone who facilitated Epstein's crimes is held accountable."

Are we surprised?

Trump: "The game tonight's going to be amazing. We're going to have a full team and Belgium is going to have a full team…If they beat us, we'll say it was — I say it was rigged just like the election was rigged in 2020."

Who agrees this needs to go viral? Justice, accountability, and democratic rights should never depend on who is in government. Watch. Share. Let the conversation reach everyone. #FreeDC #Justice

The orange felon blames mail-in voting, immigrants and felons for destroying America, yet he marries immigrants, he votes by mail and he’s a convicted felon. Funny how that bullshit hypocrisy works.

So true!

Clarence Thomas says the 14th Amendment should be read narrowly because it was written for formerly enslaved people. By that logic, the 2nd Amendment was written for muskets, not AR-15s. Funny how that kind of originalism only shows up when it's convenient.

I couldn’t watch the last episode of Colbert. I just watched this clip. The class, the JOY in this finale, and I’m in tears… for what was, and what will never be again. Thank you, Stephen.

There is so much poetry in Stephen Colbert celebrating his finale on the exact stage where the Beatles changed culture in 1964. Singing "Hello Goodbye" surrounded by his family, his band, and his crew before Paul McCartney flipped the final power switch. This was the perfect full-circle goodbye!

Lol…..

The end of Viktor Orbán’s autocratic regime is a victory not just for Hungary, but for people who value democracy around the world. Congratulations to Tisza, to incoming leader Péter Magyar, and to Hungarians everywhere.

I love the idea that *this* US government, which has been nabbing landscapers and five year olds knows where Iranian sleeper cells are but just hasn’t gotten around to doing anything about it yet.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

DOOCY: If Iran tries to hit us back, have you been briefed about how many Iran sleeper cells there could be inside the US right now? TRUMP: I have been, and a lot of people came in through Biden with his stupid open border. But we know where most of them are.

Another reason I love Spain and their hot ass Prime Minister.

Adam Schwarz@adamjschwarz.bsky.social

Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez on the Iran War. "Spain's position at this juncture is clear and forceful. It is the same position we have maintained in Ukraine and also in Gaza. No to the breaking of international law that protects us all, especially the most defenceless - the civilian population."

WOW! What a blow! And he is so right!

Spain to Trump: "Spain opposes this catastrophe … governments are there to improve people's lives … not to worsen them .. it is absolutely unacceptable that leaders who are incapable of fulfilling this task use the smokescreen of war to mask their incompetence $ line the pockets of a select few."
