I am now MAGA! This $90 will relieve the skyrocketing costs the Biden administration caused to happen 2 years after they left office. Even though the high costs are worth not having Iran bomb Los Angeles and San Diego with weapons they didn't have on rockets they also didn't have.Thank you Trump!

On June 21, DOJ charged "shriveled shlong" with conspiracy to commit murder. Today, they moved to dismiss that charge. This was part of the UFC plot. And I'm sorry, but I'm not deep enough in this case yet to explain WTF. Here's that docket: www.courtlistener.com/docket/73512...

1. As I saw it come up in conversation about authors and their financial struggles, yes, in fact, I've always had the primary income in my family, and always through writing (although not always fiction). However I also absolutely 100% acknowledge that my career is not possible without my spouse.

Enjoying my cup of schadenfreude.....

BREAKING: Judge Waverly Crenshaw dismisses indictment of Kilmar Abrego Garcia based on selective and vindictive prosecution. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Markwayne Mullin is a slimy creep who should most certainly not be confirmed. But not because he started as a plumber and that take by folks on the left is just shitty. Be better.

If you don't think the capture of Nicolas Maduro has made the world safer, just remember how the death of Saddam Hussein brought stability to the region and a lasting peace to the world.

This will be handy: Chief Justice Roberts in 2019 "Federal judges have no license to reallocate political power between the two major political parties, with no plausible grant of authority in the Constitution, and no legal standards to limit and direct their decisions."

we can chalk it up to youth and inexperience but the biggest mistake the mamdani campaign made was winning by 8.8% and not 1.5%, which is the margin needed for the media to say it’s a total mandate

The right sets the terms of our political discourse in so many ways, one of which is the idea that there isn't enough "debate" and "free speech" on campus. We need to push back on this. The truth is (speaking for myself as a history prof), I don't really emphasize debate much in my classes/

And today too many Americans will once again wrap themselves in the flag of righteousness and blame Islam. And so I'll speak out. Because the arms that wrapped around me, and my American colleagues on that terrible day belonged to Muslims."

Our response to terrorism was to react in ways which only foster more terrorism. Sadly we appear not to have learned much of anything from the events of Sept despite the fact you can hardly move without the media asking you to relive every second.

Because we mistook the roots of terrorism as religion, instead of the poverty, lack of education and loss of hope which make young people easy prey for those who exploit religion for their own purposes, we have spend trillions of dollars not in building schools but in blowing them up.

and not the Pakistani in Swat valley trying to raise a crop of food and send his daughters to school, or the Art teacher in the classroom next door to mine or the woman who was my nanny, and certainly not our fellow Americans who are Muslim.

but at a time the world was saying “Today we are all Americans” we seems to forget we'd become part of a larger community of folks who've suffered terrorist attacks, that the good people of Belfast, Karachi, Gaza City could help us understand how to live through and move forward from this terror.

Instead we appeared to wrap ourselves in our flag and mistake who the enemy was. Instead of recognizing the evils of extremism, of the thought that believes itself incapable of error we chose to focus on the religion of those particular terrorists.

But in the 10 years since that tragic loss of 3,000 souls, 30,000 innocent civilians have died in terrorist attacks in Pakistan. And no one is holding ceremonies of healing, or moments of silence or 24/7 news coverage for them.

I was able to rebuild my life and care for my children and move on. I've remarried, bought a home, live in peace. But I'll also say that knowing you can't complain really doesn't change the fact loss happened, just makes you feel guilty for feeling the natural pain such loss brings.

For my friends in Pakistan the way forward has been less positive. Sept 11 marks a terrible tragedy for this nation, and if you want to you can relive it moment to moment on any given television channel this week.

And I can't complain really – we may have arrived here in the US with next to nothing but we were never refugees the way too many people are, I had friends to live with, family to support me, job skills to enable me to find work, and I'm from here.

No one I know lost anyone. But losses we did have. The first was the loss of feeling secure. I understand fully well the fear in the hearts of New Yorkers after the attacks. For me, the feeling of safety and security I'd had which allowed me to travel all over beautiful Pakistan was shattered.

I feared being a target I feared my American school being a target, and most of all I feared my children being a target. Eventually foreigners were sent to Thailand, with the idea we'd be there a week or two. We never returned. Mychildren and I arrived back in the US on Sept 24th with one suitcase.

We'd traveled in western Pakistan, to Quetta and Peshawar and seen bin Laden's picture hanging in the market stalls of Afghan refugees. We did not have the slightest doubt what had taken place had been an attack.

We went to school on Wednesday to find our student body, 90% of whom were Muslim Pakistani children shocked and frightened. At least a dozen of our students had family with business in the WTC and did not yet know if their loved ones were alive. Fortunately all were safe.

She said “what?” and we, taking turns, told her this was an act of terrorism and Al Qaeda was responsible. While Al Qaeda was still an obscure group to most Americans, and Osama bin Laden not yet a household word here in this country, such was not the case for us.

My friend and then neighbor Jon is the younger brother of Prudence Bushnell, who was our Ambassador to Kenya when the Embassy there was bombed by Al Qaeda in August of 1998. Later that month President Clinton went after Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan we'd been evacuated out of Pakistan for a month.

We arrived home just before 6 pm that evening. His wife Judy was watching my boys and his son, just my son's age. As we arrived the boys came running up saying “someone hit the world's tallest buildings with a plane”. We figured Judy was letting them watch some disaster movie and walked next door.

We entered their home and Judy explained an airplane had hit the World Trade Center, we turned to the television just to time see that searing image of the second plane hitting. Judy says Jon and I looked at each other and said, with one voice, “pack”.

"On September 11, 2001 I was living and teaching middle school at the Lahore American School in Pakistan. Pakistan is 12 hours ahead of west coast time. After school that day my fellow science teacher Jon and I attended funeral prayers for our science tech who had died the previous Sunday.

Sooknanan talks about crafting her TRO to ensure that the children aren't removed until briefing is complete and she can rule. I do not want there to be any ambiguity about what I am ordering or what the government is to do down the road, she says.

The official White House line is now that those dirty Democrats must’ve been hiding some serious dirt about dirty Democrats in the Epstein Files and that’s why the much more transparent Republicans won’t release them now and uh Trump might pardon Maxwell too?

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

JD Vance: "We know that Jeffrey Epstein had a lot connections with left-wing politicians and left-wing billionaires ... Democrat billionaires and Democrat political leaders went to Epstein island all the time. Who knows what they did."

I know facts are slippery things, but Russia was booted out of the G8 FOR INVADING Crimea. And Trudeau wasn't PM at that time. Not sure what this particular example of his idiocy bothers me so much.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump with Mark Carney: "The G7 used to be the G8. Barack Obama and a person named Trudeau didn't want to have Russia in, and I would say that was a mistake, because I think you wouldn't have a war right now if you had Russia in."
