Visiting the folks today & they tried to make a roast lamb & the entire glass container they used exploded. Apparently some time in the 70s Pyrex switched to a different type of glass & the new stuff they sell can't handle heat well. Having to explain PYREX & Pyrex are not the same company sucked.

On ‘Sonic Adventure 2 Battle’s multiplayer character select screen, most character models are warped to appear normal from the perspective of the camera. By moving the camera we can see what Sonic looks like during this screen.

I appreciate the bar is quite low but this excerpt from an interview with Molyneux about AI is almost too on the nose. Nice anecdote about a colleague he used to respect and enjoy working with, followed by an explanation of how him and everyone like him is now expendable.

This story is not just about ChatGPT killing yet another person. It is a confluence of poor medical follow-up, isolation, and the complete lack of a support system for chronically ill people in this country. She should have had someone else to talk to other than a busy doctor and a chatbot.
