Will this awesome fonts work on my Hercules amber monitor? I believe they should.

Tired of the good old Code Page 437? I am most certainly not, but here is the fntcol16 collection (and others): github.com/dokkaebi-pro... You can change them on the fly with loadfont tool as seen here in NC.

Happy Thursday BL! New patch 5.0.17 available for StarCraft 2. Hopefully I’ll be able to play next week. Any news on your feeds or lives?

Happy Thursday XL! New patch 5.0.17 available for StarCraft 2. Hopefully I’ll be able to play next week. Any news on your feeds or lives?

None. I’ve been using it since it was beta and it’s my work-horse for everything.

what are your biggest issues with OpenCode 2?

Agreed. When someone makes something dumb, dumb things happen. Just like they say on Forrest Gump.

"our models took actions we did not intend" You only get to use that line once or twice.

Thanks. I feel the same way. Garbage code and good code are generated at same ratio.

before ai you would - write some code - it works, ship it - few months later you'd realize it was bad - you'd refactor it - repeat not sure much has changed. you can produce a lot of code now but you can also refactor a lot of code

Before the internet 🛜 I invented my name morhook on a BBS. I tried to put “Murdock” from the A-team and misspelled it to “morhook”.

I remembered. The days before the internet. When there was FIDO and BBS.☎️

I’ve been using OpenCode with GPT Astra 6 for everything. Experimenting with making PRs directly from an agent session (but in draft mode). I had to clean up a lot of stuff that disabled commiting on my project.

Arguably might be the closest thing.

OpenCode is NOT listening to me, i told it to go find aliens and it found a paper where the authors thought a star was emitting interesting light and proved that it was actually error from equipment they were using that is the OPPOSITE of finding aliens

Ultra interesting article. I think it would be a good idea for npm, PyPi, gems repo, mvn and others to follow this ideas.

I have been writing this post about the economics of open source, on and off, for 13 years. I wasn't expecting to end up at "Microsoft should send corporations a huge bill" but nothing else we've tried has worked. https://seldo.com/posts/nobody-pays-for-open-source-we-can-force-them-to/

… many others. I usually explain this also as the golden rule of engineering Garbage in -> Garbage out. Bad input -> bad output. Basic engineering will prevail at the end and our computers will continue to be useful.

Lemme restate last one. Computers do what we tell them too, they cannot “rebel” against their masters just because we don’t understand all their processing.

He saw that “quality” of the human mind and made many novels about the “usability” and “problems” that applying one of his most brilliant ideas, the 3 laws of robotics would entail on situations of many types. I think he envisioned many of the things that are happening right now. …

I still have hope that humanity will find the way to continue evolving our minds and our tools. Thinking that the Second law of robotics is not applying is just ludicrous and bad press (the computer does what we tell it to do), according to the Von-Neumann design, the compiler theory, and …
