I realized a few years ago that anyone can create a day. Pick a day, promote it, see what happens, repeat next year. My push began early January, pushing for a "Use Your Gift Cards" day on a Saturday in February. Pushed for six weeks on Facebook. My parents used some gift cards, so it was a win.

Crazy to read this as my oldest turns 29 this week. Seems like yesterday that we were watching this show. I have an memory attic full of shows I watched with my children. At the time, I thought it was forever, now it's forever ago.

This is why I don’t take AEW for granted. It’s why I think a lot of criticism towards them is also done in bad faith. I remember multiple times Wade Keller saying wrestlers should act like outlaws and that WWE emasculated their roster, Now they’re outlaws in AEW and he’s just clutches his pearls.

I caught this match (and the whole show) a few months ago. What joy it brought me, playing on wrestling tropes, goofy moments, and silly stunts. Hangman on a horse, then in a bar for a bar fight. A pool fight where someone can't swim. A large bell. All in a stadium so the action was spread out.

Maybe, but I know it has made me an Editor and a Fact-Checker.

This is insane to me. After seeing Ospreay step away last year, I was ready for a long wait while he healed. Given his style, Ospreay deserved some time to get better. This return is amazingly quick and I wish him well.
