#25YearsAgoTodayAtDisneyland (10/26/2001) In the midst of a project I suggested to document all the menus for reference at City Hall, I captured these interior signs from the food court that was Hollywood & Dine in Disney's California Adventure.
Cinderella Castle at the Walt Disney World Resort decorated to celebrate Disneylandβs 50th anniversary in 2005.
The βMagic Windowβ on the front of the castle would change periodically through the day to show images from the other parks castles around the world.
This November, celebrate family with us at our next Perfect Pairing as we screen Disney and Pixarβs "Coco" (2017)βa film about a young boy finding balance between his dreams and his family's wishesβpaired with beverages from Fox Tale Fermentation Project. bit.ly/3VX7TvR
Rest in peace to actor and screenwriter Walter Koenig, who passed yesterday at the age of 90. Koenig will be forever remembered as Chekov in STAR TREK and Alfred Bester in BABYLON 5. STARLOG sends our love to his family, friends, and infinite fans.
Ace Ventura Pet Detective: Live in Action was a short lived show at Disney-MGM Studios from 1995 - 1996.
Not only could you watch the show in Streets of America but you could often meet with Ace himself after the performance!
On my way out, but man are we fortunate to live here. At sunset itβs a perfect 74 degrees. These are the evenings where I want to just be outside relaxing with friends.
The grand finale Earth Globe from Illuminations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot.
At the time of construction the Earth Globe was the world's first spherical video display system. At the end of the show the globe would open up to expose a torch and shoot of fireworks!
We keep meeting stretch goals faster than we're able to make the graphics!
We've now added:
- Luxe edge treatment
- Add'l foil deboss on ALL slipcases
- D'ni language slipcase for D'ni language variant edition
And, well, we just hit 900K, so additional D'ni translations are go!
An early The Living Seas Pavilion model from 1978.
This version of the pavilion would have sat where The Land Pavilion currently sits today. Guests would still enter the pavilion on the right hand side and experience a larger Omnimover attraction than what we have today.
