Indie devs, whats better? World aligned textures / materials or "Normal texture/material"? I'm learning to make games and textures fry me lol

This has been my day in 40c weather (104f), my mother had nowhere to plant flowers or veg, so I built her a planter box. The burnt look is a Japanese technique known as Shou Sugi Ban, helps protect the wood from moisture 🙂

Sooo the last month or so has been... a little hellish. My uncle passed away from stage 4 cancer, I got the funeral on the 30th. I took time off from streaming cos of that and other irl stuff. During this time, I started a partial re-brand to my stream as a way to keep busy. 👀

Building a bench to sit on in the garden... Woodworking is my "chill zone"

I'm on a journey to make songs that are relatable using ai to show what they can do and bring copyright music to people who want something they can play without fear of being "copyright stricken". This is created by @SunoMusic ai, lyrics by myself. youtu.be/0hSyBFwxQQ0

This right here is why @bsky.app is so much better than that other app... I dont get these issues here.
